"I surprised you as you took your usual shower. I seized your arms and bound you to the bar, and then left you alone immediately after. You are left for a few minutes to wonder what is going on. Stirred and hot from the shower, but wetter still at your vulnerability and the anticipation of what is to come..."
An erotic first-person short story from bdsm author James Wood.
British-born author James Wood spins sensuous taboo tales. Themes of domination and submission predominate - of hands on legs and garter straps and ladies bound in silk.
A short story would be way too grand a phrase to classify this....interlude. I use interlude and it seems to fit appropriately. This interlude is written from a man’s perspective and doesn’t procrastinate with words and flowery phrases but gets to the heart of the narrative. This was written to sexually excite the reader and although I have a personal aversion to shaved mons pubis I realize it is in fashion today. I must give credit where credit is due and say that it serves its purpose well. I could safely compare this interlude with a condom. A medium to be used once and then thrown away; customer satisfaction guaranteed. This isn’t a story I would go out and buy (it is probably brought home in a plain brown paper bag) but since the wonders of the internet have taken over our lives I could acquire this publication with the mere click of the mouse. And it was FREE! I love to read and on occasions I have been known to read safety instructions on tubes and bottles in my medicine cabinet. This was vastly more interesting and stimulating than what I generally have in my bathroom. I am a firm believer that every publication deserves a review from the readers and do so with every book I read. This is my review of Shower Time. What you see is what you get.
Deliciously written, short, sweet- but this packed a punch for me. I was looking for something erotic and seductive. Something to sate the needs for condensed but provoking fiction and it really did it for me. I am not one for the whole idea of shaving, but it was sinful to read and I wanted more to be honest. Overall though it was a good indication of James Wood's style of writing and I liked it a lot.
Shower Time is a short story written in the first person, with descriptive language, which pulls the reader into the heat of a passionate erotic shower encounter. It is short but worth reading and enjoying.
Shower rituals are wonderful ways to connect and have special moments, this one just didn't do it for me. Perhaps it was his narration verses the submissive's perspective. It was okay.
