By then of this series I had had enough. The plot was the same basic run down. The things that annoyed me throughout the last few books was not having any updates on the previous characters and the additions to their families, what did they have? Nearly all the female leads were virgins, like seriously. I have to remind myself these books were written a few decades ago and on that note well done to the author for taking on 12 cowboys.
In Mason’s Marriage, Tina Leonard gives us a rugged, no-nonsense cowboy who finds himself in a marriage that was supposed to be all business—but emotions quickly complicate the deal. Mason is loyal, guarded, and unexpectedly tender, while the heroine brings warmth, wit, and the perfect amount of challenge.
A classic Tina Leonard romance: heartfelt, humorous, and full of that irresistible Callahan family charm.
I was waiting until I finished the series before I wrote a review... This my third or fourth time reading the series. I really liked all the books. There were laughs and tears as I read. I can’t say if I had a favorite couple, I enjoyed all of them. While Romance books, there wasn’t a lot of sex. What there was, there wasn’t a lot of details, which I like. I like the back stories on these books
In Leonard’s romantic novel, Mimi Cannady had no regrets spending a night in the arms of cowboy Mason Jefferson. And the beautiful daughter that arrives nine months later is all the proof she needs to justify that night of passion. Unfortunately, the word “commitment” sends the cowboy running away while forcing her to marry someone else.
Now the sheriff of Malfunction Junction, he’s delighted to learn that he’s a father and expects to claim both mother and child as his own. Mimi has always been the woman of his heart but wanting her just isn’t enough. To have them both, Mason must find a way to leave his fear of “commitment” behind and convince Mimi they are meant to be together.
Mason's Marriage is the last book in Cowboys By The Dozen book number twelve by Tina Leonard. This was a very good series. All twelve brothers were in all twelve books. But each book told a story about one main brother. All except Mason the oldest we learned a little more about him in each book. Now Mason has his own story. Mimi Cannady has always loved Mason from when they were children. Mason never returned that love. Mimi marries another man and has a baby girl which Mason delivers because her husband was out of town. This book takes twist you might not think about. Mason has to court Mimi and show her he really does love her and not because of her daughter. A good read. Funny and Romance. Easy reading.
