The Acrylic Painter's Book of Styles and Techniques

Rate this book
Acrylics are famous for their versatility. They can be used straight from the tube to look like oil paints. They can be thinned with water or painting medium and used like traditional watercolors. Or they can be used with techniques unique to acrylics. Instructive and inspirational, this book brings together the diverse styles of seven top acrylic painters to illustrate the versatility and creative excitement of acrylics. You'll learn their tips, tricks, and techniques in 28 step-by-step demonstrations. Each artist's section ends with a brilliant gallery of finished work.

Not really for beginners, but some great ideas and tips I would like to eventually try. It’s a bit old, however, a good edition to a painter’s library.
