"Selected Poems" by George Herbert is a short collection of religious poems based on the virtues of optimism, resilience and spirituality. Herbert's love and devotion towards God is reflective in his poetry collection and presents his views on theology, religion, and Christianity. Poems like 'The Pulley', 'The Pilgrimage', 'Doomsday', and 'The Collar' are some of the poems that make the entire collection pleasant and worthwhile for the reader.

I like Herbert, but not as much as some people I know who really get into him. He's very good but I prefer Donne.
