While written for teen-agers I found myself absolutely fascinated by the life of Pasteur as presented by Tiner- a fact which made me pull down 2 other Tiner books from my shelves to give them a read. I also am interesting in following up and reading more about Pasteur- perhaps after Christmas. The hardships Pasteur faced and conquered, the prejudice he endured and his successes should be an inspiration to anyone. And through it all he maintained his Christian faith and showed true science and true Christianity have no conflict.

No había olimpo, no había magia, sólo movimiento.

Love this biography of such a talented man. I learnt many things about chemistry and science. About diseases, microorganisms, and so many interesting facts. A must read for people who love and thirst knowledge.

Had to read this for school. I'm not much into nonfiction, but this one was decent as far as biographies go--simple and to the point, and not super preachy.
