While written for teen-agers I found myself absolutely fascinated by the life of Pasteur as presented by Tiner- a fact which made me pull down 2 other Tiner books from my shelves to give them a read. I also am interesting in following up and reading more about Pasteur- perhaps after Christmas. The hardships Pasteur faced and conquered, the prejudice he endured and his successes should be an inspiration to anyone. And through it all he maintained his Christian faith and showed true science and true Christianity have no conflict.

Great book! I think it's geared toward younger readers, but I enjoyed it. For some reason I actually found myself almost emotional when he successfully saved the little boy's life. 💗
