Hi, I'm Liz Fielding, and I'm a best selling contemporary romance author with more than 15 million books in print and Katie Fforde wrote, when honouring me with the Romantic Novelists' Association's Outstanding Achievement Award in 2019 said - "Liz Fielding's books, with their warmth, humour and emotion, have charmed millions of readers. She is a true star of the romantic fiction genre..."

And now I've turned to a life of crime with my first cozy mystery. Murder Among the Roses, published on 18 April 2023 - of which Katie Fforde also said, "I was gripped from beginning to end..."

Reading is a big part of my life. I love witty, contemporary romances, not too much sex,, Women's fiction by the likes of Fiona Harper, Julie Cohen, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jennifer Crusie and Barbara O'Neal. And I love crime fiction that isn't too gory, or focussed on clue hunting, but is big on character.

My best loved series at the moment are the Ruth Galloway series by Elly Griffiths, The Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch and the Libby Sarjeant Mysteries by Lesley Cookman. I've just read the first in the Georgina Drake crime series from Kate Hardy and looking forward to the next.

I liked this one, second chance story for a couple who have to deal with a lot of issues from the past that they never dealt with within their marriage.

Very angsty, but the Husband truly loved the wife, despite not being able to express it, so it was a sweet angst instead of a too heart wrenching one.

So good to finally get a relatively fast-paced M&B without the typical one-dimensional characters. This one had all the good stuff that I love in a quick romance.

Reunited: Marriage in a Million is the first of a trilogy sharing the journeys of three heroines as they confide in each other – secrets that they’ve previously held close to their hearts and that nobody in the world knows.

Liz Fielding takes us with her on Belle’s emotion-packed journey of discovery and we’re in for a bumpy ride. We accompany Belle as she makes the momentous decision to be true to herself.

This is a story filled with glamour and everything that comes with being a popular icon in the world of television and the wife of a successful billionaire. Liz Fielding strips away Belle Davenport's glossy exterior that the public knows, and gives us an emotional insight into Belle and Ivo’s real lives.

Reunited: Marriage in a Million is a story that contains everything we’ve come to expect from Liz Fielding – the veteran of romance fiction. Her well-honed expertise is apparent at each and every perfectly-plotted twist and turn of this story.

When you pick up any Liz Fielding novel, you’re guaranteed a well-written, altogether moving experience and Reunited: Marriage in a Million is no exception to this rule.

Reunited: Marriage in a Million

What started as a marriage of convenience became more. But old hurts tend to not heal without both loving. She goes on a bike trip to gain support through her media job. He stays back and is more standoffish than before. But once she is back others come back into her life. Can she have it all? Or will she have to give up on love?

Well written very emotional story about a couple who can't tell each other that truth about their feelings.

A fair bit of angst and parts of it were very sad. I cried at chapter 9 when he told her the truth and at the ending too.

I couldn't put this book down. Started reading this in the train on my way to work and yet when i get into the office i wasn't able to settle this aside & concentrate on real task on hand. i skip lunch just so i could have an hour to read. it was such a romantic story. i so loved reading about marriages that needs fixing & the journey to happy ending. it touches me, i found myself at the verge of tears several times .. especially when we were given glimpses inside Ivo's heart .. of how much Belle's leaving was tearing him apart. how much he loved her.. how could anyone put this down after reading about the HK trip he planned for but failed to make it, about him visit Bella because he missed her so much, about the void in his life. it was all so beautifully put together. the ending was an awesome one too! no spoiler from me.

Another goodie from Liz Fielding. She's definitely my favourite Mills and Boon writer. Her books seem to have more depth than many of the category romances. Like her other books I've read, this was well written, witty, with sympathetic characters and handles the emotional content well. Not just the romance too, the characters have other emotional issues to deal with and Fielding handles that well without turning the story into an angst-fest.

I read this all in one session on a long journey. It certainly helped the journey go faster.
