Two cowboys, Chase and Parker are doing their best to keep the cowboy way alive with social media. Posting videos about their lives as ranch and dude wranglers. When they catch the attention of a princess from a far off land, everything changes. Will she help them save the cowboy way? Or bring their dreams to ruin? Can Parker bury his hurt and let a new kindle warm his heart?
The opening scene explaining to colors the atmosphere and feel of the desert was beautifully written. The way Parker is with his horse is an amazing thing to see. The description of the horses and the details in this book are so different which makes it exciting to read. Lol them getting to the other country falling asleep in the back of the limo. Then the cheese!! Haha the Princess and Parker meeting!!! Oh gosh... punching Alexander... I love how Charlotte is trying to help Parker open up to her. Man his story about his past is rough... oh my gosh... toweled Chase and almost naked Parker. What the F! His Ex! And his kid! Oh my gosh! And she just ditched her kid... what a jerk!... Ahh Charlotte came to Parkers ranch. I love how Mary helped Charlotte when Parker left. Yesss I love them!!! Garth is so adorable with Charlotte! A baby!!!
Oh my gosh, this book is adorable. It's also a single-sitting read. The characters are cute and have a wonderful, heart-felt cause. The cinnamon roll trope is super adorable. The knowledge about the rancing side of life is showcased throughout this book. And like Stephanie's other books, the romance is 100% swoonworthy.
I loved this story. My kids are English hunter/jumper riders in a barn that also hosts its fair share of Western riders, and the endless debate between the merits of the two is entertaining. So reading Chase and Parker's thoughts on the matter had me in stitches at times. Childish as I may be, when Chase split his pants, I laughed way harder than I should have. He was such a surprising character because he was so goofy, but then had a temper and was fiercely loyal to his lifestyle and his best friend. Parker and Charlotte were both cute in their own right, and had somewhat of an insta-love attraction, though Charlotte had a head start watching Parker's YouTube channel for a couple of years. I love how she embraced the Cowboy Way and wasn't afraid to get dirty. Parker had his own hurdles to overcome and seeing that play out was a great little twist to the story. The side characters were fun. Poor Krissy at the beginning also had me laughing... Girl, where's your dignity? LOL. But several other side characters had me laughing as well. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this adorable sweet romance.
A clean and wholesome romance for fans of the insta-love trope. A sweet read that bobs along merrily and is the perfect book for those times the reader doesn’t want to have to work too hard.
Chase and Parker are desperately trying to preserve the “cowboy way” with their popular series of vlogs about their life on the ranch. When requested to teach their cowboy way to a pampered princess in a small European principality, the offer is too good to refuse and could be the saving of the ranch. But life (and love) moves in mysterious ways and Parker is forced to confront the ghosts of his past to be able to move on.
Despite me wanting to slap Parker upside the head at times for being completely dense and shaking my head in baffled amusement at the cowboys’ assumptions that everything not the “cowboy way” is bad, I enjoyed the tale and was rooting for the Princess and her awkward cowboy.
Did anyone say, hot cowboys? This was a cute story, with an ending I approve of. It is a sweet romance, even though I would rate some of the scenes low spicy. You can tell that the author knows about horses and ranching and certainly knows that handsome cowboys are a must-have. It's a great read and a fun contemporary western romance.
I laughed, I teared up, and I swooned! The author did an amazing job describing the cowboy way and that even though we come from different backgrounds, love is love. I'm so glad Parker got his happily ever after. I wonder if the writer will give Chase his own love story next?
Saving the Cowboy Way is a super sweet, clean cowboy romance set in the hot Arizona desert (most of the time, anyway). Two young, handsome cowboys are trying to make ends meet by vlogging and have become a bit of an online sensation in recent times, but they are still surprised when a princess wants them to come to her home country and teach her the "cowboy way." Sparks fly when one of the cowboys, good old brooding Parker, meets the princess and gets some alonetime with her trying to teach her to rope. But Parker is a broken man and struggles to allow himself to love again. Then, when he thinks, "maybe it CAN happen," his past comes back to haunt him, in more ways than one.
I absolutely adore the characters and the witty banter and dialogue between them. The scenes are beautifully described, especially regarding the ranch and horses, and the landscape of Arizona. You can practically feel like you're standing there alongside those handsome cowboys.
Another thing I really enjoyed was
This is a relatively short, but no less sweet contemporary romance. A story about second chances, healing, and coming together as a family. Absolutely wonderful!
I'd love to see this book on the big screen because it would make for a wonderful Hallmark movie.
Saving the Cowboy Way is an endearingly sweet cowboy romance that one can easily finish in a single sitting.
Cute characters, fun scenes that will have you unexpectedly grinning, and a wholesome heartfelt romance, that I really loved (despite the insta-lust/love I'm not usually a big fan of), this book has it all.
I shook my head at certain cowboys' assumptions that their way is the 'only good way' and caught myself chuckling at split pants. I adored Garth, who stole the show, and really loved that sweet happy end.
All in all, this was an adorable read that anyone in need of a clean wholesome romance will probably love.
Whitfield has written a charming story of cowboys and princesses. It could almost be a fairy tale. I loved the camaraderie between the friends, Chase and Parker, the spitfire personality of Charlotte, and Garth stole my heart! That little boy was adorable! It had plenty of drama with laughs along the way. Who doesn’t love a handsome and charming cowboy!?
