I loved this series of Percy Jackson, probably my favourite series ever. The first book was a bit confusing but deeper into the collection was very captivating. Overall an amazing series.

Cheguei a estes livros após uma grande satisfação a ler Harry Potter, e posso afirmar que superou a concorrência. Talvez tenha uma pouco de vies por ser um grande fã da mitologia Grega... mas a criatividade colocada em cada livro, a perfeita utilização de cada personagem mitológica, é sem dúvida, uma fabricação digna do Olimpo. Eventualmente lá escreverei a avaliação individual para cada um, mas de momento estou ocupado a ler a série The Heroes of Olympus eheh. Portanto podem prever que gostei mesmo desta trilogia, que me fez embarcar logo na série que segue os eventos. Boas leituras!

Amazing character development and nostalgia

This has been one of my most favorite book series in my life. Since I'm a natural fast reader, I really like long books, and Percy Jackson has both many books, and thick books. I already have a jacket of The Seven [If you know them], and a camp half-blood shirt and hat. But as you must know, it is hard to buy 2 Percy Jackson books at once, cause they are very expensive. So I got a Kobo, or eReader to read on. It is very efficient, because the screen is special, and won't blur your eyes. When I first met Percy, I liked him at one, like many readers before me. But, when I watched the Percy Jackson movie, I don't think I exactly LIKE it. It doesn't have much details, and leaves out some parts. I feel bad for Luke, not hate him. He was corrupted, because he thought his father didn't love him. I like Percy even more when he decided to turn down immortality, and just ask the gods to remember the minor gods, and make cabins for them. Very wise of him. I don't understand why Athena was acting rash at him though. I will continue to read more books.

Rick Riordan did an amazing job making this a fun and exciting adventure for any age. It gets your blood pumping and it makes you keep flipping the page. He teaches you a lot about Greek mythology while making it so much fun to read. My favorite one is the third one: the titans curse.

I loved this book! It was captivating, and drew me in right from the beginning. The way the book began made me love it already. I love the idea that people can come up with a whole story, and write a book. (One of the best series I've ever read so far)!!!

My entire childhood. I was OBSESSED with these books. Beyond obsessed. Reading them now years later, they are obviously written for younger kids and didn't totally keep my interest. However, they were still very nostalgic so I did finish them.
