I came across a bedtime story video where Matt Berry reads this book. It was super sweet, wholesome, and wonderfully narrated in Matt’s amazing voice. Highly recommended this super cute book, and any other narration by Matt Berry.

Giddy Goat is a book about a mountain goat Giddy who is afraid of heights. One day he slides down the mountain and finds himself with a herd of sheep. One of the lambs wants to be a rock climber and has wandered away though and is high on the mountain. Knowing the lamb would be scared on the mountain, so Giddy conquers his fears and climbs up the mountain. Together they climb all the way to the top of the mountain. The sheep then plays games with the other mountain goats until it's time to go home. Through his time with the sheep in the mountains Giddy is able to conquer his own fear of heights. His last line in the book is "It's a lot easier to be brae when you have a friend with you." This book shows the power of a friend and how a friend's help can help you achieve things you thought were impossible. The message is not hard to get so I think this book would be good for young kids.

You should really read Giddy Goat because it tells you how to face your fears. It helps you because Giddy was scared of going to the top of the mountain. He faced his fears. He saw a sheep stuck at the top of the mountain. He wanted to help but he was scared to go to the top. So Giddy believed in himself and saved the sheep. That's how Giddy was brave. This book is an awesome book. It has beautiful pictures. It is also interesting because some of the sheep didn't like Giddy. When Giddy saved one of them, they started to like him. You should read this book to help you face your fears.

Cute colorful illustrations accompany this story of overcoming ones fear. Although giddy is a mountain goat he does not like heights and thinks living with the sheep will be much better but they don't want him around. Through this Giddy finds a new friend in a lamb who wants to climb mountains
Being a mountain goat is no fun when you are scared of heights. And that's Giddy's problem..."
