Hashish by Suomi La Valle is without doubt one of the best ever coffee table publications. Its sumptuous full frame pictures of every variety of hashish from around the world, page after page impress from the first time it is opened to repeat visitations year after year. I have lost count of the times friends have spied its boldly printed title shouting from the bookshelf, and after pulling it are left quietly immersed in a visual treat from beginning to end.
To say that the book is light on words is an understatement, so if it's a literary masterpiece you are after you are missing the point. This is a one off collectors masterpiece of unique images that has never been equaled, nor is likely to be in todays uberconservative society.
Hard to find (this book is a little rare hence its price) and easy to peruse over a coffee and cake and whatever else takes your fancy, this book is a real treat for the connoisseur.
Grab one as soon as you can and cherish it for life!
