Прекрасна книга за деца и бивши деца. Спомняте ли си екранизацията - "Гостенка от бъдещето", също чудесна!

The book which got me reading science fiction in the first place.
Typical Russian in it's set-up and the mentality which is promoted. Not exactly surprising since the American writers do the same thing but interesting to note having reread it as an adult.
A children's book in which has some very adult themes.
The most important part for me was that the characters are human with clear flows and are really 'any-man' so it is easy to related to them.

An amazing story for all ages

I am not very familiar with the work of Kir Bulychev, but the story "100 years ahead" has been remembered by me since my youth. I read it on my father's recommendation. Starting from the first page, I couldn't stop. It was so interesting to read about the adventures of young heroes.
Now, years later, I realize for myself that "100 years ahead" marked the beginning of my love for fantastic works related to time travel and alternative realities in general.
The work is aimed at a young audience. However, it will be quite interesting for older people to read. All thanks to the memorable characters, an interesting world, which shows the author and Bulychev's own vision of Soviet society 100 years after he wrote this story.
The book has an excellent narrative and plot twist. It would seem that the usual request of a person builds events around one of the main characters in the most extraordinary way, sending him on an amazing journey into the future, where he meets the famous Alice.
The work interestingly shows the amazing developments of the future and how the child admires them. Bulychev perfectly conveys the feelings of the main character when he meets a kind of taxi, an ice cream machine and much more. I just want to find myself in the world that the author draws, a world that has gone far ahead in its development over the past 100 years, and society has long been thinking in other categories.
The second part of the work is a true detective story, in which the main character will have to find the person she needs. And she does it with her usual enthusiasm and savvy.
And of course, it's not without villains — pirates who hunt for heroes and bother them in every possible way. I can't help but think that nothing will happen to the heroes. In this work, everything is somehow above this negativity. The main narrative in the story is an amazing new world of the future.
"100 years Ahead" is a great piece from my youth. Even though I did not live in the years when the work was written, the atmosphere of those years is perfectly conveyed on the pages of the work, and my parents confirm that they were such schoolchildren: resourceful, mischievous, good friends and adventurers. I highly recommend reading this story. It doesn't matter at what age. You will definitely appreciate the skill and talent of Kir Bulychev and discover the world of a girl with whom nothing will happen.
