Pasadena pediatrician Kevin Paul Anderson was admired and trusted by his wife and patients, and looked up to as a mentor by many of his associates. Sad story but true crime books usually are.

Dr. Kevin Anderson killed Dr. Deepti at Mile Marker 33 off a highway in Southern California. The book gives the background of their relationship leading up to the murder. The author follows the testimony given in court and the problematic happenings in the courtroom. The jury deliberates for six days before finally giving their verdict. Dr. Anderson is later sentenced to several years in prison and his career as a doctor is over.
