I received this book back when I was a little, little girl and have loved it ever since. I lost track of it until my mother found it in our stuff and gave it to me to read to my kids. My #3 lost her first tooth yesterday and so, of course, we read this book. It was the perfect way to remind her of the Tooth Fairy's job and what to expect come morning.
A review from the perspective of a fan of children’s/YA horror, just for fun.
This is sweet story of the Tooth Fairy that is actually creepy when you think about it!
She collects teeth and then sorts them into jars, makes jewelry out of them, even stuffs pillows with them and strings them up in her window like stars! She paves the walkway to her front door with them! She gives them as gifts!
She is a tooth hoarder!
And then you find out that the reason why she collects teeth is because she doesn’t have any of her own.
Absolutely creepy and I LOVE IT. I was tempted to add this to my YA Horror shelf but I didn't want to be weird.

Ashley and Grace came over to walk Macy this morning. Ashley has a very loose tooth. I gave her my copy of this book, which I bought at a book fair at Beach Elementary School. Book is read aloud on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPqUd...

Have you ever wondered what the Tooth Fairy does with all those teeth she collects? I love this story about the tooth fairy from my childhood. It is interesting to note that Anita Feagles came up with the idea after overhearing a conversation between her young daughters. Re-read for the Friends & Fiction Official Book Club 2024 Reading Challenge for January. (Book from year I was born)
