Light Realm
Alex Sharner has always dreamed of traveling beyond the confines of Vercilis, the small town he grew up in, but that town offers him protection from the monsters that populate the world at large. That is until a strange boy from the Capital shows up, followed by the appearance of strange creatures, culminating in the destruction of Vercilis.
After making an unlikely bond with a wyvern, Alex learns that he is a wyvern rider, a rare variant of auramancers. With their powerful aura, these auramancers can bend the elements to their will. That is when the strange boy reveals that he is actually from Light.
Realm, a hidden city of auramancers. After learning that Alex's parents are nowhere to be found, the boy offers to bring him to Light Realm.
Alex must now quickly learn to control his powers with the help of his new friends while searching for his parents and, hopefully, find out what caused the destruction of his home.
