An excellent collection of essays covering a wide range of topics. Would 10/10 return to this book next time I'm writing about sociolinguistics (and I am always thinking about sociolinguistics!).

A pretty decent mix of sociolinguistics essays. As with all readers, there's a wide range of quality, but for me it was nice to have bite-sized chunks to work with, since I read it over lunch.
