The touching conclusion to the crazy cross-dressing saga! Merleawe has returned to a peaceful civilian life and has finally graduated from wizarding school. She's been working toward peace ever since Sylthfarn's death was announced five years ago, but the King of Caldia has other plans for her—invading her home country of Viegald! Merleawe must put her magic to work one last time to save her friends...but it may take a miracle!
The final volume, and for some reason the author felt the need to add a new character. I don't care about the new character that is only in the story for maybe a chapter. The class present finally gets up the courage to ask to work along-side Mr. Yue.
5 years later, for some reason, they never found a new Wizard Master. Everyone goes on with their lives. Mel apparently disappears. Yue, Vaith, and Gelnn are still at the castle. Fern went back home and was despised for dying before his master. For some reason, Mel gets back to the castle and becomes the new Wizard Master, and Fern becomes her Shadow Double.
Apparently, that is their happy ending? Personally, I think this series started out great and went downhill quickly. The author spent this whole build up to find Sylthfarn, just to find out "oh no he got killed on his travels." Never mentions them finding a body, never mentions why he went out to travel, never talks about why he never told anyone he was leaving. Why would you wait 5 years before you pick a new Wizard Master anyway? That doesn't make any sense. I feel like I wasted a lot of my time reading the series.
A poor conclusion for an overall poorly told story. In this final volume, it is set five years in the future, which is fine enough, though we often lose a lot of tension in time-skips. Also for some reason, at such a late stage in the series, the author decided to add a new character to the mix as if the audience has any time to get invested in them. Overall this is kind of a waste.
I have not had much time for reading recently (uni dissertation!), so I've been reading more manga than usual as I find I can get through one in about 20-30 minutes.
This is the sixth and final book in this series, so glad I kept with it as this was such a good ending to the series. Although I am not going to spoil it by giving it away!
Really wish there was more books in this series though it did seem really short!
Merleawe has gone back to her normal civilian life and has graduated from the Wizard Academy as third to top student. Three years later, there is a silver-haired maiden going from country to country, making peace between them all through kindness. This silver-haired maiden, otherwise known as the silver-haired saint, is none other than Merleawe, and Viegald needs her now more than ever! Caldia is ready to declare war on the weak Viegald unless they are to find a new Master Wizard...
I was a little disappointed, but in the same way I always am with this series. I just want a little more detail, a little more explanation. I want to see more stuff happen.
Still, it's a good conclusion to the little series. Fern didn't make much sense in this volume, though. Well, I guess he did. I don't know. I just got a little tired of him, I guess is more accurate.
It was cool seeing Mel grow up. See, THAT'S what I'd have liked to see more of...
The Final Book to a great series. I loved this series and I miss it already. Although she cried a lot and didn't have to find many enemies. It's a great story with great drawings. I loved to look through these manga when I can't think of an outfit. If you haven't checked out this series, you need to. It's a great read!
i loved it! i swear i cried soo munch for this. of course you should read the othe 5 to know what happened and why you should cry :). it was sincere and warm on my heart. i loved how it was also such a funny way to show how much you can do if you be yourself and you try SUUUUPPER hard on doing thing! In all i loved it!!!!
I loved the ending, the change of her character and growth in magic. It was a good round up of the situations and the characters beliefs. It was good to see the passage of time and how they all grew.
