I don’t even know how this book got published. One of the worst reads ever. This author progressively got worse and worse. She should never write another series because it’s the biggest disappointment.
The literary tricks the author uses are obvious and annoying. Usually used to enhance a story or create mystery they just lead to frustration and holes in the story. The one that annoyed me the most in this book was when winter left to "discover who she is and her powers". Yet all that happens is her mother telling her what she is and to stop trying to control what she can't. Alec though, gets told of powers he doesn't know about. Wtf?!?
3.5⭐️ It was interesting but there were parts that were way too repetitive. Finding out Winter’s true nature kept it intriguing but the way she found out wasn’t very entertaining. I liked that the connection between her and Alec continued and developed a bit more. The continuous battles with the silver hunters has gotten quite boring but at least in this one they fought Tyre.
Much more activity going on in the book! I was excited things worked for Winter and Alec! 👏 And that she finally figured out what she is! The fight was worth it and they won back their school. And now she just has to figure out where her parents are!
This one felt like a let down. I felt the reveal of what she is was very anticlimactic. The "trial" seems like the easiest thing she's done all series. During battle scenes things "magically happen." Seemed unbelievable. I'm sad, I was loving this series.
This whole series is okay. I finished it at least, but I didn’t like the way the story progressed and honestly didn’t care for her love interest at all
3.5 stars. One of the better books in this series with better character growth. Glad to have finally finished this part of the story but will likely pass on Book 6.
A lot of repeated info or words. It’s too long I think. Each book could be so summarized! Anyways. Angels? lol 😆 that was funny. Still cool. I mean I’m still reading eh?
