A celebration of what makes someone special to you. There so many different ways that you can let someone know that you appreciate what they do to make your life worthwhile - this book is a wondeful meditation on how we can show others how much they mean to us. The art is charming.

Yes, it is a bit syrupy, but in these strange times, we can all do with an extra bit of sweetness.



That alone would be lovely enough, but the illustrations are even loveliererer.



Read this one to your child, and then later on, ask your partner or pet to read it to you.

Absolutely enjoyed all of the artwork with those adorable foxes and detailed botanical illustrations. This book is a perfect gift to someone you love and care for and most importantly grateful for.

Platonic love has been depicted wonderfully and the togetherness and the bond of friendship comes out strong through Cecile Mertzger's work.

Again, a perfect perfect gift! Grab it, collect it, gift it to your best friend, spouse or parents.

This book was received as an ARC from Compendium in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I could not help but think that this book will be the perfect gift for my children nieces, and nephews. The wording and meaning of each book really warmed my heart and I could feel their hearts warming up too. The artwork and drawings were very well executed and brilliantly done that it captivated me and I could hear all of my nieces and nephews screaming wow on the top of their lungs. This book is sure to warm everyone's heart and not just the children.

We will consider adding this title to our JFiction collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

My friends gave me this book as a gift when they came to visit me and I cried my eyes out while reading it for the first time. Though, funnily enough, neither of my friends knew it, I really love some of the other picture books M.H. Clark has written, such as You Belong With Me. The rhythm of the words Clark writes makes each page very satisfying to read out loud, and I can so clearly feel the heart behind every sentiment. I'm so glad to have this book as a physical representation of how much my friends care about me. Thank you, M.H. Clark, for writing More Than a Little.

SO cute! A perfect book for gift giving to a child or adult that you love "more than a little". With Valentine's Day coming up, this would be perfect-or for graduation season as a sentimental send-off.

The illustrations were breath-taking and added value to the rhymes they accompanied. They were calming which made for a wonderful bedtime story.

The original use of this book seems to be for as friend gift, but upon reading through it I decided it could also be read to children as a self esteem type book. The pictures are beautiful naive art and the words are rhyming. It works really well for children as a bedtime book
