バッドエンド目前のヒロインに転生した私、今世では恋愛するつもりがチートな兄が離してくれません!? 1 [Bad End Mokuzen no Heroine ni Tensei shita Watashi, Konse de wa Renai suru Tsumori ga Cheat na Ani ga Hanashite kuremasen!? 1]
Cute but…I really REALLY hope he isn’t her blood brother…and the step sister is kinda gross with the wanting to marry her step brother to the point of being jealous and abusive of her step sister…so weird.
3, I’m not catching the subplot, stars.

Edited an Hour Later: So a friend of mine read volume two and cautioned me to .
I'm going to leave my original review and rating because I loved this volume a lot, but as of right now I will not be getting volume two until I see more reviews/hear thoughts from friends before picking it up.
Original Review: My first thought after reading this is who says that villainesses aren't the only ones who have fun because our heroine here is having a blast!
And not just her, but I loved reading this!
The art was the first thing that caught my attention because everyone is so incredibly gorgeous! I really loved how everyone and everything was drawn and definitely can't wait to see more of the story drawn out!
When it came to Reine, I loved her! I'm so excited for her and how she is taking this second chance to live our her life to the fullest and doing all she can to grow and change. It was obvious by the end that she was not who she was in the beginning and that her efforts were really paying off when it came to magic and knowledge. I truly hope it will pay off too with her interacting with some of the love interests because I admire how she says good morning to the prince, only to be brushed off every. single. day. Like you go girl!
When it comes to Julius, I really like him as a character! I am deeply confused about how exactly he is related to Reine or if he is at all because it feels like there is very important information being withheld from her and the reader. Because of this, I told myself not to think about their relation to one another because I honestly just don't know. I want to say they aren't because as Reine pointed out they look nothing alike but that doesn't have to mean anything in a fantasy world. LOL!
My speculation is that she isn't related to anyone in the family because she doesn't look like her father and it's obvious she is treated with disdain among everyone (minus Julius). I guess time will tell if that's true, but I can say that I'm fully on board with reading more as I really liked all the guys and our heroine. I'm fully cheering for you, Reine, and hoping for nothing but the best!
Also, right now I'm #TeamYoshida because even though he was grumpy, I loved him! LOL!
This was cute. A young woman wakes up in her favourite otome game as Reine, a daughter of a dysfunctional noble family, only to learn she’s tried to kill herself because she was bullied at the magic school for being a lousy student. Pleading amnesia, Reine sets out to turn her fate around. She has unexpected help from her brother Julius she hasn’t been friends with before, and a talented classmate, and she starts to improve.
The first volume doesn’t get very far in her project of not being expelled from school, and her bullies haven’t given up. No romances yet, despite the name of the series, but there are a couple of interesting boys at school. And Julius is behaving very unlike a brother, so he probably isn’t one and will turn out to be a love interest too. I’m interested in reading more.
TBH idk what to make of this manga. Like it’s giving the whole “villains are destined to die” & “villainess level 99: I may be hidden boss..” vibes but reversed with the heroine trying to raise her power rank while figuring out who the love interests are and trying to live life as the heroine but it’s not working out since she is constantly bullied.
I hope the Julius guy isn’t actually her brother because… 😅 it does seem like there is something about him that is secretive tho. Will have to find out with later volumes but I don’t wanna finish this story.
Pretty enjoyable set up but I think her "brother" is one of her love interest which come on Japan. But I like the premise of enjoying your youth in ways you were too nervous to do when you were young and this isn't like other stories where people seem to be trying to kill her, so I like it.
It’s ok, but follows the same formula for the most part. I want to know why Julius and Jenny are supposed to get married. Blood relations or not, she’s still his stepsister.

This is a sweet, middle of the road, fantasy romance isekai. The main character is plucky, and wins over her harem by being sweet and kind and persistent in the face of bullying and challenges.
The biggest issue with this story is that the main romance is between the MC and her "brother". Having been around this block before, I had faith that the story would eventually reveal that they aren't actually related (but not until volume 3!). But it's still always going to be weird and uncomfortable when the main romance in the story is between people who think they're siblings.
Aside from that detail, the rest is managed pretty normally. The plot is pretty slow and trope heavy, mainly revolving around the MC picking up more friends and members of her harem. By volume 5 there's some mention of dungeons and demons, but mostly we're just in a school with a tiered ranking system for magical powers, and the MC is working diligently to raise her rank. Oh, and she's got a very jealous step-sister who is ranked much higher than her and is out to get her for reasons unknown.
Overall, a fun, easy read with all the usual suspects for the subgenre. I wish it was complete, because as is, it's hard to tell if this will go anywhere interesting, or whether it will just go on forever with these meaningless scenes of everyone being in love but pretending not to be.
I am not that big a fan of this isekai set up. I don’t find it very compelling for the characters and it is lacking in depth that other set ups have. I also found the first bit to be super clunky in its attempts to establish the world. It felt too much like bad exposition dumping and made everyone feel like some sort of robot, people don’t talk like that even to someone they believe to have amnesia. And of course our protagonist backstory is the exact same nothing backstory that so many of these stories have.
After we got through Thor’s initial hurdles we got thrown into one of the most cliche series of events imaginable. Not a single original thing happened here, and the character knew it. Just because you call yourself out as being cliche doesn’t excuse you from relying on overdone tropes. This was just so much nothing.
I’m also not really vining with whatever the brother has going on, weird vibes.
Stock premise and acceptable art. There could be a bit more distinction in the characters (especially capture targets). Honestly the narrative is just a bit too relaxed. Our lead lands with amnesia and instantly accepts whatever is happening to her. Doesn't seem to care about her old home, people bullying her, or treating situations as if they are real. I know this character is manipulating me all the time, I guess I should hang out with him more. Doesn't ask questions about this society or concern herself with how she magically understands languages she has never seen before. If she doesn't care, it is hard to muster the energy as a reader to care. Summary: Reincarnated into an otome game, our heroine Reiny is forced to start grinding to improve her skills. Until she improves her magical rank, she will be harassed and ignored by everyone at school. The shocking change in her personality gathers many admirers, however.

A really fun manga about a girl being isekaied to a world and trying to get a higher rank PLUS find romance! This is a review for the first 4 volumes.
NOTE: I got all these 4 volumes through Comics Plus (library app that one of my libraries gives me access to), apparently they aren’t all out, but they are on the app, so I am guessing either the dates are not matching or Tokyopop just couldn’t wait anymore, haha.
In this one we meet a girl named Reine. Or well, she is now Reine, but she used to a be a girl from Japan who was crushed by her shelves of otome/romance games (what a way to go) and now she is stuck in this world. And whereas with a lot of these isekai the characters have memories of before or even get them as time moves on, Reine is totally amnesia. She has no clue about her family and who they are, she has no clue about school stuff (which makes ranking much harder), she has no clue about events, and many other things. The only things she knows are basic stuff. But the rest people have to tell her and she has to study hard. I loved that Reine didn’t just let it drag her down, instead she was very excited and happy. She had plans and she was there to do them and I was rooting for her. In the first volume she is still pretty oblivious but as the volumes go on we see her come out her shell more and more, make more friends, get more confident in what she can do, and other things. I loved it. And throughout she was studying the hardest.
Because in this school you have a rank system. S to F. F is what Reine is at the start of the book and that means that her school life is horrible. F-ranks are on the verge of being expelled, they are allowed to be bullied, they aren’t going to be happy. But we see that Reine wants a happy school life and she went full on studying. Starting with the very basics, asking all the guys and girls to help her out whenever she needed help. And I loved seeing her grow. I was just rooting for her and I was so hoping that she would get better. I am also glad that in the later volumes, even with her having achieved a higher rank, she doesn’t give up. Reine is so much fun!
I loved that no matter what Reine gives it her all. She is friendly. She is kind. I loved how sweet she was with her friends (and love interests).
I also loved seeing the cast of hot guys (and friendly girls) grow with each volume and her gaining more and more friendships (well, of course some love interests as well given how some guys are really happy to see her, haha).
Oh, but the step-sister was just MEH. I mean we already see that she is down for some serious shit, but throughout the book she was just horrible. I am sorry girl, Reine can’t help that Julius likes her and that Julius would rather spend time with Reine.
And the world was also a fun one and I would love to dive deeper into it.
But while I did like Julius in these 4 volumes and found him sweet and charming and definitely know that he and Reine aren’t related, I had a hard time with him. Because he is keeping secrets away from Reine. Reine still thinks he is her brother. Plus, we learn he is taking revenge and uses Reine for that???? And sorry, that makes the actions he is doing not very YAY in my book, that makes it more ICK. Date scenes are fun, but with Reine thinking he is her brother, eehhhhhhh. And then there is the whole fact that with each volume that he gets more possessive over her, calls it cheating if she spends time with another guy, tries to get her away from people, gets angry at the guys for spending time with Reine, and other things. It is just ICK, it is just EWW. I would forgive him a bit more if he was just darn honest about his relationship with Reine and what he is in her family, but it’s been 4 volumes, and the only thing he has done so far is fucking hint at it. TELL THE FUCKING TRUTH already. Good LORD. And let her have a little fun as well. She is clearly in love with you, but again YOU ARE HER BROTHER in her eyes (and several others). She cannot fully explore it, so she is all free to say hi to friends and potential other lovers.
The art in this one was pretty fun. The guys were soooooooo handsome. swoons I wouldn’t mind being Reine, haha. Though sorry to Julius, I would probably go for Yoshida or the prince.
Oh, I love the bonus chapters we get with the boys Reine has met. Like instead of her POV we get one of the guys, or we just get a little bit more in the lives of the boys. It was so fun and I am happy they were added!
All in all, I cannot wait for the next volume because the last chapter promised that the hike wouldn’t go as it will and I need to know if all my characters are safe. Plus, I need to know if Julius either tells the truth or chills a bit with how he acts around Reine.
You can see where it's heading a mile away (a feature, not a bug)but you know the ride's going to be silly. My biggest beef (with this & an unfortunate number of other titles in the genre) is that the clearly non-related brother is a major love interest. For the FL that's not the biggest deal (she generally doesn't remember growing up with him & does not have him on the romance radar, etc.) but wtf is wrong with that boi, hmmm? They've kept the ML fairly mysterious for now, so I'll keep reading, but I'm on skeevy watch for sure!

Not as exciting as some of the other isekai manga I've read, but cute nonetheless. I felt like Reine accepted her fate way too quickly, and also isn't trying nearly hard enough to find Also so many of the male love interests look the same? Not sure if I want to read the next volume or not.
the manga has a really longggg ass name, but it does have promise. hated the step-sister, she’s got to go! the relationship between julius and rein looks like it could be a sweet sibling bond, however there is some confusion on it crossing a line and going into weird territory—which I really hope not. Also, yoshida!! I’m definitely shipping rein with him. yess give them too me!!
Just another standard school slice a life fantasy isakai but the characters are super fun. Lots of cute moments and full of delightful energy. Actually made me envious of having an older brother when I was reading them getting teasing in. I look forward to reading the next volume!
An otome isekai manga. But the heroine does not seem to know much about the game which makes it more interesting but again, one wonders if the isekai setting was really necessary. Some elements are super cute, some are super funny, I am enjoying this a lot.
actually, there was nothing i enjoyed about this book. The weird incest plot-line (despite it being an obvious twist that they were never siblings, just raised as them), the FULL amnesia and reincarnation into a teen's body, the otome aspect with better options than the sibling? unenjoyable
