The book is full of twists and turns, as the reader follows the Scarlets rise to power and her trials and troubles along the way. She's protected, trained and loved by her men as she works to fit the role they have for her within The Origin, the most secret of secret societies.
The book is also full of sexy scenes, which add to the suspense and excitement of the story. One scene in particular stands out and let me tell you it's stayed with me for days now. WOW beyond scorching hot. That ladder sure does feel good for all concerned.
Overall, this book is well-written and exciting book that is full of intrigue and sexy scenes. It is a must-read for fans of secret societies, reverse harems and men who help their woman be the best that she can be.
Eve Newton had me mesmerised from the first sentence and she didn't let me go until the last word and tbh this book is still with me.
Scarlet is in deep trouble. Can she get herself out of it or can her guys help her?

Oh my gosh! It was so amazing to read the finale of this series! Eve did it again and I was floored. The twists and turns didn't stop in this book. In True Eve book fashions, you don't want to put this book down once you start.
Scarlet is the amazing FMC and she has gone through so much, and her rise to power is no different. She is loved by her men and it shoes, and they help her fit in the role of the secret societies role she is to fill. The fun stuff *wink* doesn't take away from the action and plot line of this story. But the fun stuff, D-A-M-N, is it hot, make sure your AC is blasting.
This is a great series, if you're a lover of why choose/ RH, secret societies, and men who are supportive and yummy?! This is the perfect series for you.

DNF
I gave this a middling rating to try and be fair. I gave up reading this part way through.
Scarlett got arrested at the end of the previous book. Intrepid Tristan (& his dad) to the rescue but not in an obvious way.
Not really a Spoiler…
Completely and utterly ignoring the obvious option of the necklace that records anything near her. Instead she was left at the police station until the guys did their convoluted thing. It would have been blindingly obvious to explain the recording device as a new security measure for the agency girls.
I got frustrated with the book at roughly this point and stopped reading. You might be more invested in the overall storyline and the relationships between the characters. So don’t let my DNF put you off.

happy for now ending to a decent series
I found this series rather unbelievable and very off the wall.. If you’re wanting something like that then this is for you. I prefer a bit more realistic plot markers and time frame than this gave. Overall though it was spicy for sure 5 men one female and she is a pretty strong female character she doesn’t stay down for long which is some ways is good but there is no lingering anything from the things that happen to her which is why I wasn’t as much a fan.
