I think I just read a dime novel! My first, you see. And it was delightful. Good guys, bad guys, bad guys turned good, the inner thoughts and feelings of a gray mule, an equine heroine named Betsy, and an utterly unique hero, a tramp trained in jujitsu, the handsome guitarist and songbird, Speedy. What more could anyone ask for?

The adventures of Speedy, a mysterious young man who doesn't wear guns, is gifted with his hands, and plays the guitar. He cleans up the town of Sunday Slough, tackling the town boss and the corrupt sheriff.
