Helpful Book: Jesus said there are four types of soil in the book of Mark. Our hearts are the soil. Some people have a hard heart. They are bitter, resentful and unforgiving. A key message is that you don't have to be the smartest one in the room to produce the best fruit. Studying the word of God is key. "The measure of thought and study you give to the truth you hear will be the measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you--and more will be given you who hear." Mark 4:24
