It's short but also very informative compared to other books in this topic. It's very relieving when you read the chapters and you can connect with the words that are said. Highly recommend, especially a quick read but you see that you'll take your time through and get everything out if it.
I read a three book bundle that included this book. Below is the review for the bundle of which included this book.
We have all heard of I. Q. But how many of us know about social intellect, or the art of socializing. That is your ability to interact with people around you and form long lasting and healthy relationships with them.
This set of books is very timely as we become more dependent on technology and less socialization is occurring. At least this skill can be learned. This book is designed for those who may lack confidence in social settings, be an introvert, have social phobia or simply want to improve their existing social skills. It is set up to help give a voice to those who stay back in social settings, to help gain confidence, release your inner extrovert and make you comfortable with small talk.
I enjoyed the content of this book and think that the goals that were set out were met. It is easy to read and is full of useful information. There are good definitions for the concepts presented. Opportunity for self evaluation is given. Many ideas and strategies are abundant and gives the reader ideas to make changers at their own speed. I was impressed with the depth of information and the degree to which the topics were covered. I learned a lot and believe many people would gain benefits from reading .these books and practicing the suggested activities.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
