The girl turned stupid after she list her memories and she's the one who apologized to the guy even thought she didn't do anything wrong. And yes, they ended up together :((( the first part of the book is good but it didnt after she lost her memories

This is the first book that I have ever read by Carol bench and I have to say that I was very impressed. There are a lot of twists and turns taken by the plot and the characters were very relatable. I love how Michaela Evald from spirited woman escaping arranged marriage to a scamp on a ship and went on to encounter so many adventures with such humor and a no way to keep the reader interested. As with almost every romance novel I have read, there were times that I thought my teeth with follow-up from all the syrupy sweet sugar being exchanged between the main characters, but honestly the plot made it totally worth it. I wish there were a sequel to this book where we get to hear about Vance's story. However I have been unable to locate one. By the way I also found Adrian a very interesting and relatable grandparent for Lucian. He was meddling enough to make a book interesting but stayed out of things enough to let the characters resolve their own issues. I look forward to reading more books by Carol Finch.
