This is a good story that communicates the idea that everyone is given different "gifts" (ie talents or strengths). They may be different than other people were given, but it is up to us to find our individual and unique gifts. Love the meaning of the story!

the gift by owl going back looking at native american legends and development of the story lines of heroic stories. This is a beautifully drawn book that talks about the individual growth of the person.
