This was... on one hand, some interesting subject matter, full of little facts and bits of information I had no idea about when it comes to the history of tea here in New Zealand.
But on the other... the editor in me started to wince at about the second or third chapter. It's not about the language use - that was fine... but let's say that structurally, I would have made very different recommendations for grouping information and what to leave in vs what to take out than Ms Goldsmith's editor.
I'm glad I picked the book up, and it satisfied my curiosity on some level, but it's not one I'll be recommending to all and sundry in the tea community.
