If you like pulp than this is a good book for you. A classic of the genre but also a book that exists in kind of a narrow field. There are not a lot of martial arts books out there and I found this one to be very fun reading and surprisingly to me had some pretty interesting things to say about Tao and meditation. I am looking forward to reading the next one in the series. It was a very quick and easy read.

Blood thirsty kung fu pulp fiction with fighting, love and a gruesome castration thrown in for good measure - what's not to love. I read the first 4 books in this series when I was a young, impressionable man and now, through the wonders of the internet, I find that there are another 3 books in the series that I never knew about!! Gotta get those books!
