Blue Collar Devotions

Rate this book
“Blue Collar Devotions” is a collection of devotional articles written in the course of “pioneering” a new church in a coastal community of the northwest, revealing the focus and interests of the author over a period of about eight years. The phrase, Blue Collar, is descriptive of those who labor in trades, usually physical, often manual in less than clean environments, and far removed from the “White Collar” arena. Working in the auto body repair trade for over forty years qualifies the author to speak from this point of view with some confidence, and the various articles are written from such a perspective. This book differs from most devotionals in that it is quite simple in format and loosely organized. The only divisions are to place articles about Christmas and Easter in separate sections with the balance of the selections on a variety of subjects.
