Francis Chan is an American pastor and teacher, who lives in California with his wife, Lisa, and their four children. He is the former pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley, CA, which he and his wife started in 1994.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who wonders, "What should it look like to Disciple?" and "What is a Disciple?" This is also a great book to use as a disciplining tool. I like that it starts out by examining What is a disciple? Am I ready to disciple? How to study the Bible? and progresses with a great overview of the Bible. I will use this book and the videos that go with it when I disciple others. Now I believe I am equipped to Disciple others. Thank you Francis Chen for writing this book.

Likely the best available book on the topic of discipleship. Francis Chan (before going off the deep end) provides an excellent tool in teaching us what it means to be a disciple of Christ. Further, he shows us- through Scripture- what it looks like to make disciples of Christ alongside others in our life.
He also gives us an introductory study of Old Testament Survey, and New Testament Survey- allowing us to know Gods Word a bit better.
