The book looks amazing. Beautiful design and pictures, real eye-candy. There are some biscuits, cupcakes and even drinks but what I really want to bake are her beautifully decorated cakes.

Recipes are detailed, easy to read, I would prefer to have the whole recipe on one page without the need of flipping to the next one, even though I always copy and never take my books actually to the kitchen- I imagine it can bother many people. Some recipes are easier and some are really elaborate and take a lot of time and steps.


For now I tried white chocolate cake with amazing buttercream, it came out really delicious, I will definitely use the buttercream recipe often, loved it!

Im gonna update in the future when I try more recipes (as I usually do with baking books).

Boutique Baking is my No.1 bakery book!
It includes recipes that are suitable for every occasion: tea, snacks, birthdays, Christmas, etc!
Each time I try a new recipe in this book, I feel like an artist! (Okay, that may be exaggerating just a little!).
The photographs in this book just are so beautiful!
Now, the instructions can look quite lengthy, but that's the price for perfection and it is worth the effort.

Very pretty photography, stylish presentation and cover - and a surprise! SAVOURY stuffs! Beautiful Boutique baking in easy steps with delicious every day things too - best of both worlds, not just another cake book to gaze at without having the time or inclination to actually start cake decorating! Much more useable for the average baker than some of the stunning previous books - nice to cook with, not just look at!

A beautiful and inspiring book with lots of fun things to try out. I wanted to further my decorating skills but was a little worried that this book would be too much...it is not. There are some lovely ideas for things to do in here, and very simple easy guidance. The crunch cakes are a big hit with my family, they are amazing and super easy!
