In Your Hands is a short story originally published as part of the Sapphic Sizzle anthology in 2022.
After being single for several years, Manuela is eager to end her dry spell. She tries her luck on a dating app where she encounters Sophia, a confident and straightforward woman. Their instant connection leads them from flirtatious messages to steamy exchanges on the app.
"In Your Hands" follows Manuela as she explores pleasure on her own and later the world of sexting, roleplaying and one-night stands that turn into more.

Johana is a proud Colombian that loves losing herself in stories and fantasy worlds. Her writing is centered on Sapphic stories with romance at their core. She loves fluffy novels where love always wins. She reads and would love to write any genre, but romance and mystery hold a special place in her heart.

“In Your Hands” is the perfect short story to get you in the mood for some nice and spicy content to add to your 2023 reading challenge. Clocking in at less than 30 pages, Ms. Gavez’ writing and characters click very well that you’re swept into this hot meet-cute that will have you flying through the pages. And if anything, this novella will have readers looking through their Kindle or Amazon account for more books by Ms. Gavez.

New-to-me author, but the writing was smart and easy to follow. Now the story itself... very steamy from the get-go! I like to read authors' short stories to see if I'll enjoy their writing - I know they'll be good if they leave me wanting more.
