It’ll be a cold day in hades when I get married again.

Besides, as a billionaire widower, dating isn’t a priority.

I have more important things to focus on.

My mother is overcompensating for having an eternally single son by getting married herself.

And who does she insist on having plan the wedding?

Me.

The guy who’d rather spoon his own eyes out than have to sit through a wedding ceremony.

She layers guilt on guilt until I can’t say no.

It’s her day, after all.

But I don’t know the first thing about planning a wedding.

Apparently, there’s a difference between warm white and cool white.

I need a professional.

That’s when she comes in.

A breath of fresh air with curves that shake me right to my core.

She’s going to be the perfect distraction.

And the hot piece on my arm as my date for the wedding.

Two birds.

One stone.

An ice-cold heart thawed and wanting love.

This love story between Tristan and Colette was a cute one. This story starts with a one night stand followed by a random circumstance where they find themselves in each other’s lives again. This gives them a chance to get to know each other as they have to be a team to make sure his mother’s wedding goes off without anything bad happening.

Definitely a happy every after tale.

Whiplash

Tristan is the real deal, but can't move past the death of his wife years ago. Colette is smart and independent. One night stand, she bolts.... unexpected meet the next day. I like that they were taking it slow, but he finally gets serious, then messes it up. I don't like how quickly she forgives him, as he was quick to acuse her, without listening. HEA.

This is a great addition to the Wedding Bells Alpha series. This book can be read as a standalone, told in dual first person POV and leaves you with a HEA. The chemistry between Tristan and Colette was steamy and their story was definitely an interesting one.

I loved the souvenir that Colette took to prove her one night stand happened to her best friend, Everly. I loved the way that Colette and Tristan met the second time and how they still had that magnetic pull to each other. Colette was a sweet, understanding, determined and independent woman. Tristan no doubt had a rough life and was definitely due the HEA he got.

I really hope that we get to see a book for Everly, Kaden and Kody. They all three seem like they would have an interesting story to tell.

I was a little bummed that I didn’t get to see if anything came from the situation Tristan and Colette found themselves in with the boy they had a run in with. I was hoping to find out if they found him or not, and if they did what happened with him. I also half expected to see something about the man who approached Tristan in the airport with the Serial killer fascination to show up in the news or find out that he was undercover and trying to warn Tristan about his new stepfather to be. Unfortunately it must have just been an interesting experience that made Tristan realize how important Colette was to him that went over my head. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Regardless, this was a great story that held my attention and another great addition to this series. I can’t wait to see what else Weston Parker comes up with next.

I received and advanced readers copy via BookFunnel/the author. These thoughts and opinions are my own and left voluntarily after reading for my own enjoyment.

Tristan and Colette For Love or Money

With an unusual start to this story, you will absolutely be hooked. Tristan has loved and lost and has no desire to do so again, against his mothers instance. Now his mother is engaged to be married and needs his help planning her wedding while she's out of the country meeting her future family. Could it get any worse.....oh yes it can. Colette has turned her family's home into a wedding venue and is a wedding planner with her best friend. Finding love seems like a distant vision but she continues to hope. What neither expect is coming face to face after an eventful one night stand. How can the woman that stole his shoe be his mother's wedding planner?? With time together they learn more about each other, their connection grows, one night turns into more, but Tristan is holding something back. When his mother's dream wedding is threatened he steps in to fix the problem...but at what cost? Doubts creep in Tristan's mind and fueled by his friends...is Colette only with him because of his money?? Misunderstandings, mistakes and miscommunication may tear away the love he wasn't looking for away. Without trust there is no foundation. Great real to life characters, his/her POV, no cheating, no cliffhanger with a heartfelt HEA. A part of a series that can be read as a standalone, but why miss out??? A MUST READ!!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and added it to my Weston Parker collection. Looking forward to the next story.

Tristan Huxley, still grieving over his wife’s death, is attending his father’s funeral with his mother, and they discuss what a perfect butt bucket he was. Colette Robison is a wedding planner who uses her family’s mansion as the venue, but, still single, she is a staunch romantic who believes in possibilities. After the wedding and the funeral, they both end up at the same hotel bar. And BAM, it is full-on chemistry at first sight, so Tristan and “Cody,” Colette’s fake name, head up to a room where the chemistry continues at full force until Tristan heads to the shower and Colette heads out the door with one of his loafers.

Tristan’s best friends Kody and Kaden are always at the ready to give him advice about getting back in the dating game, while Colette’s best friend cautions her to keep everything light, except the sex, and stay away from falling in love. Despite the guidance, they do fall in love, but will the heavy baggage Tristan carries derail any chance of a relationship? Step into their journey and enjoy this delicious, passionate, emotional story that Weston Parker weaves, and I promise that at the end you will be overwhelmed by the power of a second chance filled with love, caring, understanding, forgiveness, and commitment. Ahhh!

I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.

What a Romantic One Night Stand

Who steals a shoe from a guy to prove she had a one-night-stand? It looks like Collette does. Of course Tristan isn't aware her name is Collette. She tells him her name is Cody thinking she will never see him again.

Tristan also only wants a one-night-stand to get over his heartbreak from losing his wife. It's been years, but he still can't seem to move ahead in his love life.

They meet again only by chance. Tristan's mother is getting remarried and fell in love with Collette's wedding venue. She asks Tristan to do all the paperwork and help her put together the wedding while she goes to Italy to meet her fiance's family.

Watching the two of them realize they couldn't stop thinking of the other one was fun to read. The sadness I felt during their breakup over a miscommunication was hard to read through my tears. But it seems like fate (or a meddling mother) made sure the two of them were stuck together. This is a great addition to the Wedding Bells series. Two people who shouldn't end up together always seem to make a go of it. You will enjoy this story so much, you may want to read it again and again!

This is the delightfully romantic story of Collette and Tristan.
Tristan was a broken man. He fell in love at an early age, married young and his wife died too soon after. He never recovered.
A few years later, his father, who was not a respectable or liked man, died, and following the funeral, he and a Buddy went to a bar and there he met Cody/ Collette! It was a very quick (wink wink) meeting and Cody left without either knowing the others name.
Tristan’s mother has fallen in love, decided to have her wedding at Collettes mansion, then leaves for Italy with her fiancé and leaves making plans for her wedding to Tristan.
Surprise … Tristan meets Cody / actually Collette since she had given him a fake name!
This is a delightful story! Guarantee you’ll love it. Another winner from Wes. I do love his books.

A great start to the book which despite the chapter being mainly about Tristan’s father’s funeral it draws you in. Followed by the second chapter introducing us to Colette and the scene is all set for a good story.
It’s entertaining and there are quite a few funny sections to the story. On the surface it’s a lighthearted story but there’s a lot of depth covering Tristan and Colette’s journey together.
Tristan has to work through the loss of his wife and at the same time Colette has financial challenges with her business.
Add in a huge misunderstanding and it takes them both individually having a talking to by his mother before the happy ever after ending.
An enjoyable story with scope for at least another book covering Colette’s friend Everlyn who has an aversion to marriage despite being a wedding planner.

I adore this series. I’m not sure if there’s anything the author can do with these Wedding Bells Alphas that I’m not going to love. Whatever it turns out to be, (if anything,) it’s certainly not going to start with Tristan. This man broke my squishy little heart, put it back together, and proceeded to steal it. He’s got a gothic hero’s worth of angst and tragedy in his backstory, and, as you might expect, it’s as good as catnip for reeling in this reader. Colette was just such a quirky, feisty boss babe. I fell just as hard for her as I did Tristan. This pair had such a push/pull dynamic that even though it was sometimes frustrating was equally compelling. I loved watching these two fall in love and their ending was beyond precious. Now, I’m looking forward to seeing a pair of twins meet their matches.
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

This book had everything. A hot headed widowed CEO called Tristan and a kind, sweet and lovely wedding planner called Collette. They met at a bar. (Tristan after his dad's funeral and in need of liquid refreshment) and Collette who had also had a stressful day and needed to let off steam. They get abandoned by their friends and end up sleeping together. She didn't think that her friend would have believed her for hooking up with a stranger so she stole his shoe! Weird but true.
She didn't think she would see Tristan again until his mother had found a perfect place to get married at and asked him to check it out. Thats when collettes and Tristans worlds collide.
Sparks fly again between them. Great storyline. Lots of interfering friends who think they are giving good advice. I read this book in one sitting. Loved, loved, loved it.
Thanks Weston

You'll love Tristan and Cody (Collette's) story, and it will grab your attention right at the beginning, and you won't be able to put it down. Tristan's a broken man since the death of his young wife and continues to grieve. Both characters are strong and well-developed. It won't take you long to fall in love with them. They first meet at a hotel bar after his father's funeral. Their chemistry is explosive, and they end up spending the night together without either knowing the other's name. What about the stolen shoe? Imagine their surprise when she turns out to be his mother's wedding planner. The story is told from a dual POV. The story is full of emotion and a really fun read. Their personalities were fun, and it was great watching them fall in love. A great story that I read as a free advance copy via the author. I voluntarily chose to write a review.

Weston has one again nailed it with a Wedding Bella Alpha novel. This is a story of love after loss and finding a way to move forward while honoring the past.

Tristan is a billionaire business guy, just like the rest of the Wedding Bell alphas, except he lost his wife just a few years into their marriage. He harbors a lot a guilt through the story about moving on with his wife with another woman.

Collette is a bright Wedding venue owner who loves love. The two hit if off in a bar and have a one night stand. Collette is hilarious in taking a souvenir of their time together thinking they will never see one another again, but fate has other plans because Tristan's mom is getting married at Collette's venue that Tristan is roped into helping plan.

There was low angst in this one, which was a nice change of pace for me. I definitely enjoyed their HEA.

Tristan meets Cody (Colette) at a bar after attending his father’s funeral. He hasn’t been to a funeral since losing his wife at an early age. He hasn’t been interested in dating anyone since her death. Colette is at the bar with her friend just to have a drink and relax. They meet and share some really hot moments and she leaves while he is in the shower. They cross paths again when Tristan’s mother puts him in charge of her wedding plans and it just so happens to be taking place at the venue that Colette owns.
This was a great story with wonderful characters, sweet tender moments and moments of trust issues. The chemistry is off the charts between these two but will he be able to move on from his past? And when he makes a huge mistake will Colette forgive him?

Wedding planner and bride’s son

LOVE ME NOT starts out with an unusual set of circumstances and just keeps adding to it. Tristian is showered with what would normally be an occasional blip on the screen of life, but his are a hailstorm. He’s cool, calm and collected on the outside and all “what’s going on?” On the inside.

Colette is lovely but doesn’t give herself a break. She’s amusing, passionate and has been on her own so long she decides to mix it up and do something out of character when she meets Tristian.

I enjoyed the book although there seem to be a lot of “wedding planner” stories out there. I love Weston Parker’s writing so instead of giving it a pass for that reason, I read it and enjoyed it.

I received a free copy of the steamy New York set novel Love Me Not: A Wedding Bells Alpha Novel: Book Eight: Tristan and Colette by Weston Parker and this review was given freely.
Bold and personable characters make this an interesting and at times entertaining story.
Drama-packed from the beginning, this is the poignant second chance at love story of the grieving widowed pharmaceutical company owner Tristan whose life is upended when his self-centered father’s funeral intensifies feelings of loss for his dead wife, his mother announces she has a boyfriend and soon after, his one-night stand Cody aka Colette turns out to be his mother’s wedding planner.
18+ for steamy scenes.

Tristan and Colette have a one night stand ... until he shows up at her wedding venue for his mother. Their attraction is still there but neither have had a relationship for awhile. He's still grieving his wife's passing and is feeling guilty. She's afraid to commit only to end in heartbreak. This is their story. The author brings strong characters and weaves an interesting story. He tells the story in the dual POV, adds in strong secondary characters and paints his scenes perfectly. I enjoyed reading their story.

I enjoyed Tristan and Colette's story. Both have burdens from their past to overcome (his more heartbreaking). They come together in a night of passion after his father's funeral and she never expected to see him again. Funny how fate decides otherwise. Tristan will do just about anything for her mother, even helping her plan her wedding to a man she's not so sure about. What started as a fling (something totally out of character for her), there's the potential for so much more. Will Tristan's past prevent him from grabbing it and holding it tight or letting it drift off forever? Read and find out.

What a fantastic book. True love after a terrible loss. Widower Tristan is finally interested in someone. Since his wife died, the thought of seeing someone else made him feel like he was cheating. But once he meets Colette, she sets his soul ablaze and brings him back to life. Is it too good to be true? Can Tristan get over his guilt for thinking he is cheating? Is the first girl he dates after his wife’s death the perfect woman for him? And Colette feels the same way. Is it too soon? Or is it just right? What a great, great book. I think they are soulmates. I just hope nothing else gets in the way. Is she after his money? Absolutely not. But that’s what make Tristan love her even more.

Wild one night stand! Tristan has just left the funeral of his much unbeloved father and stopped at the nearest bar for a drink to calm him down. Collette is a wedding planner and venue owner, who has stopped in the same bar with her best friend and partner. Tristan is captivated by the curvy brunette and can't keep his eyes off her. One thing leads to another and they end up in a hotel room for a very hot romantic encounter. She leaves never expecting to see him again. But fate steps in and a really great story develops. Great characters, lovely plot equals another fantastic book from Weston. Will we see the twins in their own book? Hope so!

Wonderful banter between the characters and sizzling hot chemistry. Tristan lost his wife and hasn't gotten over her death. His friend encourage him to get back out there to date again. Colette/Cody believes in love and romance. She renovated her families mansion to run her wedding planning business. Colette meets Tristan at a bar and things are amazing between them but she panics and gives the fake name Cody. Well written storyline that was entertaining and wonderful characters you will definitely enjoy.

This was a delightful entertaining addition to this series. Tristan is devastated, broken after marrying young and losing his wife thereafter. After attending his father's funeral he meets "Cody" aka Colette and with chemistry through the roof have a one night stand. Later they meet again while organizing his mother's wedding and rekindle their affair. Tristan is broken and have a heavy burden for his past, can he put it to rest to aspire to an HEA? Entertaining story that will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling.

Tristan doesn’t believe he’s ready for love again. He goes through the motions appearing cool calm and collected. When his mom begs his to help plan her wedding he had no clue the wedding planner Collette would be the same woman from his one steamy night of passion. They both take a leap of faith and through the trials they find love. This series has been incredible. I’ve read all of the books up to this point and can’t get enough of the antics, arguments, swoon and just overall passion the characters show in their own way.

It was meant to be a one night stand, but events kept throwing them together. Tristan is a widower, not looking for a relationship, going for a drink after his fathers funeral, Collette a wedding planner relaxing after another successful event, they both act out of character and have a one night stand, Collette even gives a false name, they have a great encounter, and she takes a shoe as a souvenir, safe that they’ll never meet again, until they do..
Another thoroughly enjoyable book in this series which I received as an ARC

When you give the man you pick up at the bar a fake name, you don’t expect to see him again. Ever. You REALLY don’t expect to be hosting his mom’s wedding. But those were the comical events that brought Tristan and “Cody” together.

I loved them together, especially after the ghosts of his past finally got out of the way. I hope we see more of this couple, because they really were too great together to just be in one book.

Great Book!!

Tristan and Collette were so good together!! Their characters were well defined, they were real and their issues felt real. The only hiccup in the story-I felt-was Collette made her forgiveness of Tristan’s hurtful action a little too easy; she should have left him for a day or two to really get her point across and grovel a bit, not let him skate by the same evening (my opinion). A great book, I’m really enjoying this series and can’t wait to read my next Weston Parker book!!!

Oh I just love a “love after loss” trope!

Tristan and his insecurities just made my heart break. How he jumped in feet first with Colette, even though he had massive reservations, just made me swoon. And the freaking twins! I could have murdered those idiots!

I wish we had gotten more in why Colette was as reserved as she was. She loves love so hard to have her not being in long term relationships didn’t make all the sense.

Still an easy to read, sweet story.

Gimme more!

Both Tristan and Colette have some stuff in their pasts they need to overcome. When they first meet and how she leaves had me laughing out loud. They end up crossing paths again when Tristan is sent to make plans for his mother's wedding. There is a connection between the two and a potential to be something so much more, but will Tristan be able to let go of the past and move forward to have a future with Colette? You're going to have to read for yourself to find out!!!! Loved this book!

A different kind of story about Collette and Tristan. He’s not looking for a relationship or love after what he’s been through. He meets Collette, a wedding planner when his mom begs his to help plan her wedding. Now, both had a spicy one nighter but did t know enough about each other to know this would happen. In the end, turns out fate thought they should be together and after a few u expected turns they find their HEA.

Love Me Not was a sweet, sexy love story between Tristan and Collette. I love all of Weston Parker’s books that I have read. The one night stand was surprising and then funny, I mean, who takes a shoe as proof. The only thing I didn’t like was Everly. Why would she be in the wedding business and be so down on love and weddings. It gave her an income and she was almost sabotaging everything. I do recommend this book.
