Nanny for the Rockstars

Rate this book
Working as a nanny for three triplet brothers might sound like a dream...
But when they happen to be your exes-turned-enemies,
And now they’re insanely hot rockstars?
Ugh. It’s a nightmare .

When I sent in my application, I had no clue it was the hot-as-hell Simmons brothers looking for a nanny.
Had I known it was these three arrogant jerks, I would have never applied.
So, imagine my surprise when I walk into the interview room,
Only to find three pairs of identically gorgeous green eyes staring at me...

Turns out, a baby was left in their dressing room.
And since these tatted up bad boys have no clue how to look after a baby,
They need a nanny, pronto...

There’s Julian , the flirty guitarist who gives me butterflies whenever he sings.
Terry , the talented bassist who’s extremely skilled with his fingers.
And Caleb , the grumpy drummer whose strong hands make me submit.

I spend my days in the tour bus, taking care of their baby.
And at night, the Simmons brothers rock my world.
But can I trust them not to break my heart again?
And what happens when the mother of their baby shows up, demanding to be a part of their lives?

Triplet rockstars Julian (H), Caleb (H), and Terry (H) return to their dressing room after a concert to find an abandoned baby with a note saying that one of them is the father. Jeanette (h) hasn’t had the career success she hoped for after high school and in desperate financial need applies for a nanny position. When she shows up for the interview, Jeanette and the trio are all shocked to see one another a decade after they finished high school together – more on this later I the review. Things rapidly heat up with the four, but they have to face relationship issues, including the baby’s mother showing up. I didn’t really find that I liked any of the MCs and that’s a problem in a romance. The three rockstars seemed like immature, cocky (not in a good way) D-wads who really only wanted Jeanette for sex. She seemed like she was just desperate and willing to overlook their horrendous treatment of her despite her claims to “hate them” for what happened in high school – they all shared a secret sexual relationship as juniors in high school, then when she voiced her insecurities about the future which the brothers considered an ultimatum, the relationship ended, and the three brothers made her senior year of high school a living hell, including a Carrie-esque (no blood) level prom prank.  Jeanette carries this pain ever since and now they tell her not to let the past influence her view of them and to let it go – and in fact she does since she’s on her knees for one of the brothers the morning after her very first night on the tour bus. Ewwww. Admittedly bullies-to-lovers is not one of my favorite tropes – it takes a lot to overcome the bully personas to make them likeable and this just didn’t happen for me, and I couldn’t even respect the FMC. The only character that seemed to grow in the book and had a modicum of decency turned out to be Clarissa. The premise sounded promising, and I do like RH, but this one is just a no – I have read another book, Tutor with Benefits, by the same author and wanted to give their works a second chance, but my concerns are similar for both books. I did read the entire book, but this was a closest I’ve come to having a DNF title.

Their Fate-filled Second Chance -
Jeanette was a nerd in high school who couldn’t believe three of the hottest boys in the school, who were triplets were actually interested in dating her. However, they broke her heart in their final year of high school and the pain stayed with her for years. Fate brought the, back into each other’s lives as adults, when she applied for a job without knowing who her employer was.

Julian, Caleb and Terry found their lives thrown into chaos, when they walked into their dressing room after the show to find a baby and a note stating the baby was theirs, but they didn’t know who the mother was or which one of them was the father. When they decided to employ a nanny to help them with the baby, the last person they expected to apply for the job was Jeanette.

Even though Jeanette was still upset over what they did to her in high school, she decided to accept the job. Unfortunately, her resolve to stay away from the brothers to mitigate another heartbreak, flew out the window not long after she started working from them. Just as they settled into a semblance of a real, the biological mother of the baby showed up and reeked havoc on their relationship.

Jeanette in her infinite wisdom, decided that all the chaos too much for her to deal with and walked away. However, what she didn’t consider when she left was the determination of the brothers to get their forever happiness, which she found out when they found her and tried to persuade her to come back to them. As luck would have it, they were not only able to resolve the issue with the baby’s biological mother, but they were also able get Jeanette back and work towards a happily ever after.

This story had some serious, funny and unpredictably emotional moments, that caught me off guard, that had me glued to the pages from the beginning until the end. I can assure you that once you start reading this awesome book, there is no chance you will want to take a break, until you reach the end.

Second Chance RH

This book read not only as a second romance but a bully romance as well. Back in high school Jeanette, Caleb, Terry and Julian were an item…until they weren’t and the guys made Jeanette’s senior year in high school miserable.

Now years later the triplets are rock stars and they just had a baby dropped off and were now in need of a nanny while out on tour. Jeanette had no idea the nanny job she applied for was for the three boys who treated her terribly in school.

For me the guys were beyond acting like rock stars and acted more like jerks. This was a little bit harder read for me.

A Bus Trip to Love

High school is rarely the golden time that many try to imagine or remember it to be. For Jeanette—Jeanie—a sweet, pretty girl, lived through high school, but really didn’t enjoy the experience that many recall with such joy. Her home life was not the best—money was tight, and with only a dad who dealt with addiction troubles, she didn’t get the loving addition she would have enjoy and embraced.

But her junior year was a year of joy and enlightenment. Three brothers—the Simmons triplets—Caleb, Julian and Terry, brought joy to her otherwise forgettable final years in school. Tall, handsome with blue eyes, the guys noticed her. And, they introduced her to joy and to love. But, by their senior year, the boys were not as attentive and supportive as they had been, in part because they felt thwarted by her lack of enthusiasm in their burgeoning musical presence. They were headed out of Detroit which frightened Jeanette; she didn’t see how she would fit into their new broader world. So, the more she pulled their dreams back, the more they pulled away from her. So, their senior year, it was clear that the sweet love of the previous year was gone and only resentment was left.

But Fate has a way of righting our pathways. So, when the boys return triumphantly to Detroit ten years later, their lines begin to realign. And, while the reconnection is unplanned and unintentional, it is still awkward when the brothers and Jeanie reconnect. It seems that the brothers have become fathers from a relationship with an anonymous woman who has decide that she cannot mother the unnamed baby boy. The need a nanny pronto as they prepare to leave for the next leg of their tour schedule. Similarly, Jeanie’s life is in crisis—she has lost a very needed job because of her undependable car, but she can’t afford to repair the car without a job, so when she sees a posting for a nanny needed immediately for a touring group, she can’t believe her luck—a job that won’t require a car that pays really well. The great surprise that Jeanette and her potential bosses don’t realize is that for the first time in over 3 years is that brings Jeanie is about to be reunited with her high school lovers who dropped her, breaking her heart—the Simmons triplets, now, better known as Triple Repeat. Destiny prepares to play games with the former friends and lovers.

Julian, Caleb and Terry are identical triplets who share a dream of becoming rockstars. When they were juniors in high school, they met Jeannette who was new to town. Spark flew and all three dated and loved Jeannette. When summer came, the brothers felt like Jeannette was trying to control them and block them from their dream. They broke up and spent senior year being mean to Jeannette and showing how little control she had on them. It is now years later and the triplets have a very successful music career. One night after a concert, they come back to their dressing room to find a baby left there. The note explain that the baby was their and it was their turn to take care of the boy. The triplets have no clue who the mother is but are determined to be good fathers. They decide to hire a nanny to come on tour with them. The interviews are a failure until Jeanette shows up. The triplets decide to hire her since they know her and they have feelings for her even if they won't admit it.

Jeannette used to love the triplets. They were kind to her when she started in their school and made her feel desirable. Jeannette was scared to let people know that she was dating all three of them because how people may treat her dating three different guys. However not having an public relationship, made Jeannette feel insecure. She didn't want the brothers to go on tour that summer because she might loose them. They broke up and then the triplets made her senior year miserable. Jeannette has hated them ever since. Years later, Jeannette is in financial difficulties. She has a job but it doesn't pay enough to make ends meet. Her car keeps breaking down and she can't afford to get it fixed. Finally she ends up being late to work so often that she gets fired. Desperate to get a new job, she applies for a nanny job. She is shocked when she arrives for the interview to see the triplets. She seriously debates if she should continue with the interview but she is desperate. When they offer her the job, she ends up taking it but is sure to tell them that she is just there for the baby. However the close quarters on the bus is bringing back lots of memories. Maybe she can just have a friends with benefits situation. However the old bad feelings haven't just disappeared and her jealousy may tear them apart.

I know there are a lot of reviewers who didn't care for this book, but I loved it. This is the third book I have read by Zoey Fox and it is a very exciting, action packed, and overall fun read. The funny thing about love is that it absolutely doesn't make sense sometimes. Jeanette was bullied by Julian, Caleb and Terry their Senior year of HS, but prior to that they shared a deep love for one another. She now hates them, but below the surface she still loves them and desires them. Jeanette says she took the nanny job for Hendrix benefit only and that there will be nothing else between them. She didn't even make it a full 48 hours before the hot spicy moments picked back up. When Jeanette became intimate with them after adamantly saying it would not happen because she hated the triplets could simply be described as high arousal effect. Yes, bullying is serious and I do not condone this in any way, shape or form. This is a fictional book and I don't feel the author was trying to gloss over bullying, but for the purpose and plot for this story she romanticized the subject. I loved the triplets - yes, they could be jerks and obstinate, but they were also funny, tender, romantic, loving and devoted dads. I really liked Jeanette - she was sweet, nurturing, loving, tender and thoughtful, but she was a little over the top with her repeated insecurity about the relationship her and the triplets currently shared. I am excited to read the next book Zoey publishes.

Julian, Caleb and Terry used to be romantically involved with Jeanette in high school. But, something happened that led to a misunderstanding which tore them apart. Unfortunately, the three of them decided that bullying Jeanette was the best way to handle the situation. Now years later they suddenly become fathers overnight when a baby is left in their dressing room. They need to find a nanny asap to take care of little Hendrix and Jeanette walks in for an interview where she is hired on the spot. The triplets realize they still have feelings for her and want to once again be romantically involved. The babies mom comes back into the picture and decides to stir up trouble causing things to start going south real quick between the triplets and Jeanette. They are going to need a miracle to win her love and trust back after they ruined everything between them once again.

I would give this a 3.5 if I could but it’s definitely not 4 stars. I had a lot of problems with this story.

Caleb, Terry, and Julian are triplet rock stars. Jeanette is the woman who answered an add to be a nanny because she lost her job and needed a new one. The triplets and Jeanette dated in high school before they dumped her and then made her senior year of high school miserable with unceasing bullying. Jeanette agrees to be a nanny for the brothers while they’re on the road when they find a baby left in their room backstage at a concert. So she’s determined to do the job because she needs the money but she wants to keep away from the brothers.

This is where I have the problem. Jeanette lasts all of one day before she starts up with the brothers again. It’s like she has no self respect. She completely glosses over the terrible bullying. The author tries to explain later that she’s loved them for a long time and no other relationship has matched up; yada, yada, yada. I think she’s ridiculous and I have trouble having any sympathy for her.

The triplets have never grown up from the little boys who liked to play music and didn’t want anyone to try and control them. They broke up with Jeanette because she supposedly wanted them to pick between her and their rock band hopes and dreams. They’ve spent their whole rock career banging any woman who comes on to the after their concerts. It’s such a cliché. They’re still the immature boys from 10 years ago and their first order of business is to “break” Jeanette back in like they did in high school.

There’s some mildly interesting baby mama drama. Unsurprisingly, Jeanette has problems with trusting the brothers to pick her instead of all the other women. HEA at the end.

This was a hard story to actually get into because it was very immature in the way the characters portrayed themselves. I found this book very frustrating to get through.
Jeanette, Caleb, Terry and Julian were in a romantic relationship when they were juniors in high school, they broke up at the end of the year and became her public enemy number one during this senior year at high school, now the guys are Rockstars and are on tour, after a concert they return to the change room to find a baby boy, waiting for them with a note saying that they are the father. They need a nanny and advertise for one which is where Jeanette comes in. She had no idea who she was interviewing with as a nanny discovers, triplets that she loved in high school, but now hated. This is where I found where the story was hard to get through because of the immature actions of all of the characters. There was a lot of stupid fighting and Immature behaviour, but the end of the book ended up okay, but it’s not something that I would read again.

Its interesting to read these stories that are labelled enemies to lovers because to me it often makes the males being the ones which were seen in the negative light but as usual or maybe thankfully they grow up and mature. Yet these guys, identical triplets didn't seem to be in the environmental setting to really mature being rock stars. Again it takes a good female character to "straighten" them out. Oh and a baby being deposited on their door, it seems.
At times I finding writing reviews easy and others a little harder, then I stop and ask myself, "did I enjoy it?" Because in the end run that is what reading is about, pure escapism from everyday life to put yourself into the creative mind of Authors. This is one of those stories that provided me a couple of hours of pure escapism with characters and a scenario that I enjoyed.

OMG!!! This book was roller coaster ride. It was a page turner and suspense was OH WOW!!! I was suck right in this story and stop reading and or even put it down not even minutes. Why did these rock stars Caleb, Terry, and Julian need a nanny name Jeanette. Since they were rock stars? The chemistry between these guys and Jeanette was steamy and hot. And the attraction was spicy. Jeanette and the guys head with so many emotions about their feelings. And it had drama and all above with maybe an unexpected pregnancy. This was action packed of drama, intimacy , love, enemies to lovers. Who does not love a reverse harem romance story if this book for you. You going to love it and you will not be disappoint at all. I know that I was not even as well.

Jeanette and the triplets have history from high school that they all interpret differently. They have already started out with baggage when Jeanette begins her job as a nanny. With them having history, you know it won't be long before they all come together sexually and with the guys being triplets, there is a lot of coming together.

Jeanette's insecurity from high school kept surfacing and was a driving force in the story. She really needs therapy to deal with the past. Throw in the bio mom and there are complications galore.

Of the guys, Caleb was my least favorite and Julian was my most favorite with Terry falling in the middle. Jeanette did not give me any warm fuzzies and as a character, I didn't connect with her as a person.

I felt the amount of sex in the book overshadowed the story and there needed to be more of a balance between the two.

Julian, Terry and Caleb are rockstars. After a concert the find a baby don't have a clue how they'll manage. So, they look for a nanny to take care of the baby while they continue to work. Jeanette has just lost her job because she was late and starts applying to any job she can find. She goes to interview for the nanny job, and it reconnects her with her high school exes. Things didn't end well between them, and it all comes rushing back when they meet again after all this time. Will she be able to work for them? Will she give them another chance?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Jeannette and the triplets were together in high school but they became her enemies their senior year. Now, 10 years later, Terry, Julian, and Caleb need a nanny to care for their surprise baby. The physical, sexual, and emotional attraction is as strong as ever but there is little trust between them. Her heart was broken but the guys were immature so they don’t understand.

Zoey’s stories are full of action, lots of steamy scenes, and dirty talking characters. This polyamory adds baby Hendrix to the mix to add drama, a path to understanding feelings, and learning how to communicate effectively. The ending is special!.

interesting spin on this story. there are identical triplets that are in a rock band. Triplet rock stars Julian, Caleb, and Terry. So returning to their dressing room after a concert to find an abandoned baby. How a baby past security is beyond me. So needless to mention one of them is the father, from unknown mom. Enters Jeanette. They don't want to break their contract and know nothing about babies. hmmm Coincidence she went to high school with them. So this gets dicey and defies the laws of Murphy's law on so many levels. steam and "Rock and rolling" on a tour bus with a baby is something to behold.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Jennette, Julian, Caleb, and Terry. When this book opens we find Julian, Caleb and Terry leaving their concert and heading back to the green room. When they get there they find a baby there with a note saying that one of them is the dad. They realize quickly that they need a nanny. Jennette is having problems with her car overheating when she needs to make it to work. When she gets fired instead she applies for the nanny position and gets it. Will they all find a HEA in the end or will this baby help blow up their entire life?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

When Jeanette (FMC) loses her job a new job as a nanny comes up just as she needs it. Only her bosses are triplets Julian, Terry & Caleb & well known to her as her Ex-best friends, boyfriends and bullies too. In general I quite like reading Enemies to Lovers books but I had a few issues with this one. One was how quickly Jeanette forgot her anger and principles towards the triplets when anything steamy was started. Also the entitled attitude of the triplets did my head in. They basically held no responsibility for bullying Jeanette and it felt like all they were interested in was using her for sex. They were so brattish it annoyed me to be honest. Apart from that it wasn't a bad read but i just couldn't connect with the triplets in this book.

Jeannette finds the triplets with whom she had a relationship several years ago.

They meet again several years later when they have become rock stars and Jeannette applies to be their sons' nanny without knowing it's them.

Despite the hatred she feels for them, Jeannette decides to take the job, and goes on tour with the people she loved and who made her life hell...

I really enjoyed my reading. A good HR that reads quickly and keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end with lots of emotions and twists in the relationship between Jeannette and the triplets.

The story line was interesting, but the characters were really hard to like.
Without getting into details that could spoil the story, I will say this has a second chance romance aspect to the story. The characters dated in junior year of high school, but then the boys (Terry, Caleb, and Julian) bullied Jeanette in senior year. 10 years later she applies for a job as a nanny, and the boys are the father of the child. All of the characters make choices and statements that make them seem too immature to have a child, let alone have a successful relationship.
The steam levels are pretty high.

These guys are fairly immature for famous rockstars. It's as if they never grew up after highschool. So, while they hire a desperate Jeanette to be the nanny for a baby left in their dressing room, I sometimes think they are the ones in need of rearing.

It's good to see them at least start to change their lifestyle and attitude as the story progresses. Their past behavior has already done a number on the very insecure Jeanette once. Can they make it up to her and show her they can be what she needs?

Good, steamy read. Just not a huge fan of the characters at times.

Now the boys, who as triplets, are rockstars, and are looking for a nanny to look after a baby that was left in their dressing room, while they are on tour, and Jeanette applies. What will happen when the baby’s mother turns back up determined to be with the guys? This is a good story which is an enemies / lovers, reverse harem, second chance romance, with humor, action, and love, which leads to a compelling and enjoyable page turner.

Jeanette went out with the triplets in high school until a disagreement, then they made her life hell. Her life since then hasn't gone well and she applies for a nanny job. She finds out when she gets to the interview it's her ex's. The triplets don't know who the mother is that left their baby according to the note. They need someone to take care of the baby while on tour. Will Jeanette take the job if they offer it? Will they get along?

Absolutely awesome reading

Zoey Fox has done a fantastic job with Caleb, Terry, Julian & Jeanette's story. If you absolutely love reverse harem romance with a second chance vibe then I highly recommend giving their story a read. They were once each other's world until it crashed & burned. Their story takes the reader on one heck of a rollercoaster ride filled with so many emotions. Can the past truly be put behind them for a chance at a HEA or is it all too much?.

Jeanette’s car broke down and she’s lost her job, she’s applying for any position she can find.
Rockstar triplets, Caleb, Terry and Julian have a baby dropped off backstage at their concert, and need a nanny now. Guess who should walk in? None other than the girl they shared in high school but things didn’t end well back then, can they make this work?
Lots of tension and piles of drama, crazy, angst and steam with a HEA.

This is a hard one for me. I tend to like both RH and rock star genres, so was optimistic going into this one. I found the triplets impossible to like, very immature despite being successful rock stars and with a limited emotional spectrum. Jeannette seemed two dimensional and that made it difficult to like her. I also struggled with the abandoned baby theme - finding a baby with a note, making no attempts to find out more about the baby or getting paperwork filed. I stuggled to finish the book which frustrated me as it could have been a great story.

No Trust When the Past is Haunting

Intensely emotional and full of heartbreak needing to be mended. Perceptions on what occurred in their past allowed the triplets and Jeanette to part ways. However, them not really apologizing to her really bugged me especially since she did so with her part in their past break-up. Outside of the triplets' attitude towards their past behavior and repeatedly telling her to get over, I did enjoy the overall story.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Jeanette, Caleb, Julian, Terry and little Hendrix. The guys are rockers who just found out that one of them is a dad. They need a nanny ASAP. Jeanette is a young woman who is in need of a new job. They are all familiar with each other, after all dating does that. When she finds herself at their mercy for a job, she vows to keep her distance. But fate has other plans.

This was a fun read but at times the FMC Jeanette was a bit too whiny for me. In the beginning she showed confidence and strength but as the story progresses she losses herself. The triplets Caleb, Jillian and Terry are living their life long dream as rocks stars and touring until baby is left at one of there concerts. Wanting to be hands on they hire a nanny who happens to be the girl they loved from the past. Lots of push and pull but ends with a HEA.

I had hoped I'd have a better time with this than the last one by this author but I've had to DNF at 44%. It's full of contradictions like Jeanette works hard yet is late most days. No distinction between the triplets, no clue which was which or narrating. The 'sèxy' scenes can't even make up for the shocking lack of storyline as it was robotic and like a inexperienced teenage boy had written it.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It is a good second chance story where Jeanette reconnects with Terry, Julian and Caleb when she applies for the nanny job. They had broken up badly in high school over a misunderstanding. It is cleared up and they restart their relationship. There is issues still to be dealt with but compromises and a building trust between them all allows them to be happy in their unusual relationship.

This is an amazing rockstar romance. This is an enemies to lovers and I got sucked into the story right away. Being rockstars is all nice and dandy but what do you do when there's a baby on your doorstep? Well hire a nanny for one. This is however their ex but the relationship still sizzles. These guys know what they want for sure and are prepared to fight when the mom suddenly shows up again. There's enough drama to keep it entertaining so I really will be looking for more by this author.
