She avoided fate, until it hunted her down.
A rogue vampire threatened the safety of Deryn’s vampire coven. She was determined to track the vampire down. It left a trail of bodies across the city and local authorities were raising questions, it wouldn’t be long before monster hunters descended on the city to eliminate the menace themselves and anyone else caught in their net. Deryn had already lost her first vampire coven to tyrannical hunters, and she wouldn’t lose another.
Determined to find the vampire, Deryn was close enough she found its latest kill still cooling when a hunter appeared–Liam. His piercing green eyes stared her down as the burn of a mate mark stopped her in her tracks and her senses took a tailspin. Everything in her screamed to get closer to him, to wrap herself in his aura, to claim him. She turned and fled before he could put a dagger in her heart.
With a monster hunter on her trail and unable to track the rogue, time was against her. Every step closer to the rogue brings her closer to the monster hunter. Out of options and running out of time, she agrees to help Liam find his sister if he’ll help her find the rogue before it’s too late.
The hunt is on, Deryn and Liam have to find their prey before they become the hunted. Can they put aside their differences to save the people they love before the city is overtaken? Will they succumb to the burning desire between each other that says that they're the missing piece they’ve been looking for?

Deryn was avoiding love at all costs, after a tragic past, but what happens when love falls into her lap?
LOVED this installment to the Immortal Bloodlines series. Deryn was definitely giving me lone wolf vibes, but the way her and Liam orbited each other was just downright perfect. You will be cheering for their HEA right along with them. I can't wait to see what comes next!

Eeeee forgot I had this wee beauty to read - I have had an epically bad day today so wee dive into the Immortal Blood Lines world is perfect for getting my mind off work!
Deryn is in the Coven with Wynter, but a rogue vampire is drawing attention to her coven so she’s doing what she can to stop the rogue and protect her friends and family… fate has other ideas.
She’s fun like that is fate.
Deryn is book 4 in the Immortal Blood Lines series by K Rea and while they don’t need to be read in order and each book is a standalone if you read them in order you do get sneaky glimpses of cross over characters and wee cheeky Easter eggs here and there.

Wynter
Alysia
Waverly
Deryn
I have loved each one and while they’re relatively short reads there is so much going on in them! They are brimming full of angst, love, anger, prejudice and hawtness!
Ohemmgeeeeeeee - okay I may be fangirling here but that was awesome!
I mean Deryn is totally badass and is a warrior in her own right but Liam had her shook! In the beginning not for good reasons at the end alll the good reasons!
Feel bad for Bryon though - hope he reappears further down the line and finds his HEA! I’m such a sucker for a happy ending!
Loving the cross over for the Thorne coven and their mates it’s was nearly all the team back together!
But seriously - read this series it’s all crossing over bigger things are at play - my spidey sense are tingling! Of course I could be talking utter nonsense but not knowing is half the fun!
A five star read again, love this author she’s fab!
