Deep in You introduces us Alexander Phoenix. He has a brilliant career in gymnastics, has won gold at the Olympics and has the perfect life or so it would seem. He is your quintessential alpha male. He can have any woman he wants when he wants and he knows it. But is his life as perfect as it seems or is it lacking something or someone? Someone with green eyes who invades his dreams and who he can't forget?
He meets Lily Campbell in a bar and his intention is the same as always. Have a little fun between the sheets and then see you later baby. But things with Lily aren't that simple and he finds himself for one reason or another drawn to her more than he would like. Can he trust her with his heart and his secrets? Is she the one for him or will she be his downfall?
This is David S. Scotts debut novel and he has written an intriguing story with characters that keep you invested in the story although on occasions you may want to slap Xander or at least give him a good talking to. Xander's story continues in Deeper in You, Book 2, so there is a bit of a cliffhanger but nothing to make you ask why the hell would you do that? But it's big enough to leave you wondering what's in store for Alexander Phoenix, Lily Campbell and the girl in his dreams.

David S. Scott has a way with telling you a story. His debut book Deep In You, is a great erotic romance that has a fantastic story line. You will find yourself not wanting to put the book down.
The story is about a man that has to go through so much in life that you think he would just give up, but sometimes it takes being at your lowest point in your life to find that special someone.
The story line has a few twist, where it has you guessing on what is gonna happen next. I loved how the author didn't make it just about sex, like most erotic stories.
You will definitely want to read this book and of course it ends on a cliffhanger, so definitely read Deeper In You, so you can find out all the answers. Deep In You, is a sexy, hot, erotic story that will leave the reader wanting more from the author.

“This girl was going to be my ruin; I just knew it.”
Definitely a great line and just one example of the great writing here. Typically I tend to shy away from anything erotica and/or romance related. I’m not a hater of the genre, or I try not to be but it doesn’t excite me and there’s not a lot of originality in my experience.
This book breaks that up for me.
It manages to be hot and original. There’s a ton of drama but not the same old and also, the MC’s don’t completely dwell on it, which is refreshing. It’s got to be there, but it doesn’t have to be front and center. Nicely done.
It’s professionally edited/proofed/formatted – so easy on the eyes and non-distracting.
The sex scenes are mostly original with lots of heat. When it gets punny, it still manages to not be cheesy or generic, even giving me a laugh at times. Overall – recommend. I read it in just one evening which - with my attention span doesn’t happen often these days so - color me impressed.
Can’t wait for Book 2. It does end on a cliffhanger so I do need to go on but it’s not in an obnoxious, I’ll-never-sleep-again-til-I-have-it kinda way. I truly appreciate that, Mr. Scott. Please keep writing.

I absolutely loved Deep In You! I was sucked into the story from the first page. With its solid storyline, realistic characters and HOT sex, I couldn’t put it down. For a debut novel David put his all into it. He managed to make me laugh, cry and … did I mention the steamy sex scenes?
Xander and Lily meet up and due to an unfortunate incident they are forced to share each others company, making their casual encounter a little more personal. They both work together to try to overcome some of their fears and trepidations and to grow as a couple. What I love about David’s style of writing is you can FEEL what the character feels. It is like you are inside the story itself.
I absolutely adore the banter between Xander and his coach, Sam. You gain a sense of how deep their friendship goes.
The story takes an interesting turn you won’t expect.
Will Xander have the POWER to find the STRENGTH to live his dream and to CONTROL his destiny.

Deep in You is a sexy romance with a little suspense, a sprinkle of drama and some serious heat.
Alexander Phoenix, better known as Xander, is a regimented gymnast but he also the king of one night stands. A different woman every chance he gets, never doing a repeat keeps things simple in his life. Until he meets Lily.
Lily is a journalist. She's recently single and meets Xander at a club, this winds up being the best sex ever for both of them but he's a one time kinda guy and Lily, well she doesn't really know what she is at the moment.
As time goes on Xander can't get Lily out of his head, it's more than the need to protect or sex, there's something deeper that he doesn't want to try to define.
As the two try to come to some sort of agreement as to whether or not they'll spend more time together secrets start to come out. Things they didn't expect come to light causing issues between them and others.
Then there's the end.
The cliffhanger end.
The kind of ending that leaves you cursing the author and begging for one more chapter?
That's what Deep in You does.
4.5 sexy, suspenseful stars. The book is well written with strong, developed characters you'll fall in love with.

This is my first book by David S. Scott and I can say with certainty that I will definitely be reading more of his books. Deep In You is remarkable well-written with characters that come alive on the page. It has a great mix of drama, suspense, some twists and turns, and of course.... some hot sex! This must-read book is sexy, hot, naughty... it's fantastic!

I never did repeat performances. That was just asking for disaster. No commitments, no mess, no emotions.
I wanted my life back. I wanted her to go...even as I needed her to stay.
My Review:
What can I say about Deep In You by David S. Scott? I should begin with for this being his first series, David sure knows how to make a reader feel the emotions, heat and the suspense in a story. I was left frustrated by two characters which has never happened to me before, it was hair pulling at times. I wanted to reach inside the story and slap some sense into Alexander Phoenix and Lily Campbell.
Xander is Olympian Gymnast, a public figure who is very easy on the eyes. He is known for his philandering ways, not into relationships, he is more of a one night stand man. From the beginning I was so Xander, here you have this gold medal winning Olympian who has a strong personality and is dominate in the bedroom. Then in the blink of a eye the man goes and loses all common sense over a woman he meets in a bar. That night Lily comes into his life ends up igniting a flame inside of Xander and it also begins a downward spiral that could destroy him.
Lily Campbell is one hot feisty tabloid reporter who catches the eye of one Mr. Phoenix, there seems to be trouble following her but is she willing to face the truth of who is behind it? Lily has been hurt and betrayed by an ex and friends so it's only right that she is skeptical of people. Her actions at times annoyed me and I couldn't understand how she had this power over Xander. I was so confused because I hated her at times and then I also wanted her to have that happy ever after.
Deep In You is a story of a man losing all senses over a woman to a point that he might lose everything he has ever worked for. It's a very hot and steamy read which had me blushing at times. It does have a " what the hell" cliffhanger that had me going straight to book two Deeper In You.

David Scott has set the standards high for himself. It's an amazing first book. Fun, witty, and sexually charged. Definitely not your run of the mill first book.
Xander Phoenix, professional playboy, has it all and knows how to use his charms to get any woman he wants into his bed for the night. Sex for him is a one night only performance. Until an itch to scratch and a little something extra introduces him to Lily.
Lily isn't a groupie she's a writer for a Rag mag. While their meeting wasn't planned Lily still has a promotion in her sites. Even though her personal life starts falling apart from all areas she still maintains a sense of inner strength that keeps her going.
Xander's life is turned upside down after their one night together. His mantra and need for Power, Strength & Control is tested. His days and nights are now centered on Lily. His emergent feelings toward Lily throw not only his mind and body for a loop but his career as well.
Lily refuses to give in to Xander's attempts to control her. She's a woman with goals of her own and she doesn't want anyone's help in achieving them. She also has a few secrets Xander is unaware of.
David's characters are witty, and they draw the reader in and onto the relationship roller coaster. I can't wait to read the follow up Deeper in You to experience more of the fun, antagonistic and sexual chemistry between Xander and Lily.

The title is exactly that. It hooks you from the beginning and you'll want to read this all in one sitting. It's hard to believe it was his debut novel as it is so good and you will not want to miss this story.
Xander and Lily are so much more than I expected. We get a background on their story and how the events lead up to the present. Xander may be a gymnast, but his underdoing appears to be Lily. One night is never just one night for all involved. There's something about both of them that makes them yearn for each other.
This storyline was not predictable cause there were a few turns I did not expect and the web of deceit or power of promotion is not always a smart move. Lily oh Lily, Alpha Xander has flipped for you and you may just strip him of all his power haha.
I totally did not see the ending coming, waaahhh, I want deeper in you so I can see what transpires cause Xander put himself out there for once and only us who read this know the outcome. Wanna know what it is? Bet you do. Go read this book! So good and you will be grabbing the next book as soon as its released (oh the wait is deep in suspense, slowly waiting for my turn to flip like a gymnast with the outcome).

world at his fingertips. He is not looking for
a committed relationship but one night a woman
enters the picture and turns his world upside down.
Enter Lily the girl that captures Zanders eye, she
is beautiful, smart and has a secret that when
Zander finds out he still gives her a chance as
she tells him that it will not interfere with the
relationship and he is willing to try.
The journey between Zander and Lily is
not an easy one. They have tons of chemistry
and seem to be willing to make adjustments
in their life for each other.
This book has some twists and turns that kept
me turning the pages. When you get to the end
you are going very surprised. I was shocked and
cannot wait to continue the story.

I'd like to begin my review by saying this is a stellar debut novel for David S. Scott, and I highly recommend it. I've been not so patiently waiting for what seems like forever for this book to come out and it was definitely worth the wait.
I've read many novels with athletes as characters, but they're usually football, hockey, or baseball players. An Olympic medalist gymnast. Who would've thunk it? LOL. David did, and it was superb.
Great characters. Fantastic storyline. And The sex scenes were off the charts hot. This book hooked me from the start, and kept me that way until the end.
Since Mr. Scott was evil and decided to end this story in a cliffhanger, I still have so many unanswered questions. What happened with Xander's sister? Why did he keep thinking about that other reporter? Are Lily and her linked somehow? These are just a few, I have more but I can't ask the others without ruining some of the story.
Thankfully, all will be revealed and because he's not THAT evil, the second instalment will be out in less than a week. I can handle that wait, I think.

I had been so elated for this book to come out, and it was worth the wait. Hats off to the author on his debut book. It was an awesome read, and very well executed. I loved that it was written in the main character Xander's point of view. ...And speaking of Xander he was hot and sexy. The storyline was great, and kept my interest. It was full of steamy moments, and had me questioning the characters, and what was going to happen next. I read straight through not wanting to put it down. I am excited for book two in this series!!

I really liked this book....minus the huge cliffie, LOL, but hey...that's what keeps you coming back for more. I really liked this story and I actually liked the characters. Kind of like two alpha's butting heads but then again there was the giving in from both of them. Sometimes you want to shake one, then you want to shake the other. I was also intrigued by the profession of the two characters. I've never read a story about a male gymnast before. Quite refreshing! And a reported for a sleaze magazine....cool! This story did have you wondering what was fact and what was a lie when it came to the relationship between Lily and Xavier, and I even though I read the book, I still don't know what to believe. I mean, just when you think there's the clear answer, something else is done or said and you begin to wonder all over again...which is a good thing. I do look forward to reading the next book to see what happens. I would recommend this book to anyone, it really is a good read!

I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The story revolves around a playboy gymnast, Xander, who basically has the world by the tail. He’s the top in his sport, on his way to Olympic Gold and has willing women falling at his feet. That is until he meets Lily Campbell. Lily starts as out as his usual one night stand but due to extreme circumstances he ends up taking care of her for a weekend. Xander quickly learns Lily isn’t like most of the women he meets; she isn’t going to just bow down to him (something he certainly isn't used too).
The attraction and sex is amazing yet these two manage to bump heads continually. At times you just want to reach in the book and shake them and at other times you just want to hug them. The storyline is fast paced, exciting and will keep you wondering what’s going to happened. I highly recommend reading this one and considering the story ends on a Cliffie, this reader is certainly looking forward to part 2.

I loved Deep in You. David Scott is an amazing author and it's hard to think that this book is his debut novel because it was so well written. This is the story of Xander Phoenix, an award winning Olympic gymnast, who focuses on strength, power and control until he rescues Lilly from a boring date at a bar and their chance encounter turns in to so much more. But Xander still can't seem to get his mind off of a green eyed girl from his past that was the only woman that wouldn't fall for his playboy charm and never had sex with him. This story has so many twist and turns, love, hate, and oh my god hot, hot sex scenes that you won't want to put it down. It does end in a cliffhanger but it's one that you can live with. What an incredible job with this storyline David Scott. This is a must read book and I look forward to reading Deeper in You the second book.

Wow this is my first time every reading a David Scott book and I was blown away. I would have given it 5 stars but I was so very shocked when I got to the last page and it just freaking ends in the middle of something happening (I don't give spoilers so you have to go get this book to find out). You will not be to disappointed with reading, only at the ending. Totally worth buying and being left hanging, now I have to wait patiently for more. Hurry up Mr. Scott and get me the next book!!! His books will definitely go on my automatic one click list!
I love the entire story about Lily and Xander and I can't not wait for the rest of the story, I have a feeling it's just beginning. So go and grab this fantastic read, you too will LOVE it! Enjoy and happy reading

'Deep In You,' by David Scott, is the story of Xander Phoenix, a world famous gymnast, and Lily Campbell who works for the local gossip publication, 'Celebrities and Sinners. From the very first page I knew this wasn't your ordinary romance book. This book had an excellent, and unique plot, with twists and turns that kept me wanting more!
David did an excellent job of character development with every character in the book, even the secondary ones.
The chemistry between Lily, and Xander sizzled off the page. Lily's best friend, Amara ~ we'll all I cam say is, I just wanted to strangle her.
Will Xander and Lily's relationship work?
What secrets are Lily hiding?
Will Xander's past be revealed?
This book was well written and a joy to read. I can hardly wait for book 2!

Alexander Phoenix is an accomplished gymnast who basically gets what and who he wants...until Lily. After saving her from a creepy suitor at a bar, they have a phenomenal sex filled night. Then reality hits! Does Xander want more than a one night stand with Lily? What happens when secrets are revealed? Can they settle down and have a HEA? Although this book ends in a cliffie, it leaves you wanting and needing more. Lily is quite a challenging female who makes you adore her character. She keeps Xander on his toes! Xander is your typical playboy whose life is turned upside down by Lily. Their sexual chemistry is off the wall which leads to great sex scenes. The story is simple and enjoyable. I can't wait for the sequel! Definitely worth the one click!

Fantasic debut book by David S Scott, Deep in you is about gymnast Xander, and Lily who he meets one night in a club.
Xander is not looking for anything more than a one night stand, he rescues Lily form a boring night with a man she is just not interested in.
But things take a bad turn and apart from Xander not wanting his night to become public, he finds that he also want to protect Lily, they share some hot chemistry which he finds himself wanting more of.
I really enjoyed this story, it's well writen and well thought out with plenty of scope for book 2.
The ending of book 1 was quite a surprise, so i can't wait to see what happens next.
Well done David, a fantastic start to your writing career.

Great Start
Mr. Scott's debut full length novel was a great start in the indie publishing world! His characters are well developed and believable. The plot is interesting and keeps the reader engaged from the first chapter. A sports love story using gymnastics and the Olympic background was unique.
Lily and Xander have a strange chance meeting or so the reader thinks. Many twists and turns happen and lots of hot sizzling sex scenes add another dimension to the mix and you have a winning combination!
Looking forward to the end of this cliffhanger which thankfully isn't far behind book 1!

they have one together then say goodbye but his heart and mind are telling him something different and he agrees to see how they play out together
this was a brilliant written book and story can not wait to read the next instalment yo find out what becomes of Alexander and Lily.

I really enjoyed this book. For some reason I thought I wouldn't, but once I got started and met Xander, I became invested in him early on. Xander has lived his life for one night stands but that all changes when he meets Lily and saves her. Their relationship is hot and well written. I didn't trust Lily throughout the book and it leaves you with a cliffhanger, so be prepared to jump into book two!

David S. Scott can really bring characters to life. This is my very first book by him and it was amazing. Deep in you is about Xander Phoenix, an Olympic gold medal gymnast, meets Lilly Campbell in a club saving her from the worst date ever with an older gentleman. Soon their lives become intwined. But when Tragedy strikes will their relationship survive? This book has a mix of romance, suspense and intrigue. Excited to read book 2!!

I love the day David S. Scott brought the characters together in a seemingly ordinary situation, that ends up being anything but. The story had a little bit of everything: sex, love, suspense. I can't wait to see what else happens in this series.

Losing Control
Xander has control in all aspects of his life. That is until he meets Lily. Her life is an absolute mess. Plenty of steam, drama and backstabbing. I enjoyed reading this book and need to read book 2 as I'm on the edge of a cliff right now.

I found this to be a fast paced read and I could not put it down. The author has a unique way with words and the story line is remarkable. The characters have great connections and sexual chemistry. Can't wait to see how Lily and Xander move forward.
