Rate this book
Imagine if dinosaurs were alive today . . . How would they cope? Join Triceratops as he goes to the zoo, bakes a cake, and joins a football team. Along the way discover just how BIG and bulky he really was! There's a Triceratops in the Tree House gives young readers a simple introduction to four dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex, Diplodocus, Stegosaurus, and Triceratops. By imagining dinosaurs in modern-day scenarios, readers learn about their size, diet, and other features. For example, a Stegosaurus weighed as much as three cars — so just imagine how it would play on a seesaw! The engaging question-and-answer format keeps young readers entertained and helps them to understand and retain dinosaur facts.

A lovely book that talks about how a triceratops would be if it was still around today. The silly ideas mixed with facts make for a memorable book with funny but true bits of information for children to take away

Nicely full of fun facts presented in a quirky way to help kids grasp them. Nice artwork and some fun comparisons to keep it interesting. One for a developing paleontologist.

We had a set of these books. They are a good non-fiction introduction to dinosaurs for younger readers.
