✦ i love this manga so much! something about a homicide detective who's super cute, kinda psycho, makes pottery art, likes babies, respects women, and who's also secretly a serial killer, brutally murdering horrible people just works perfectly.
✦ and yeah, i know Dan's morals are questionable, and he totally gets off on bringing justice in his own twisted and fucked up way, but oh well. at least he's killing people who deserve it. keep murdering those fuckers, baby.

✦ definitely want to find out more about Dan's "first love" and get to know more about his whole backstory in general though. hopefully we get that next.

Another great volume! I know that Dan is a psycho-killer too but he really is bringing justice (?) and protecting so many people, mainly women, kids, poor and homeless people so I just can't help but root for him.
Plus, he's so sweet with his colleagues! In chapter 15(my favorite until now and the only one where nobody ends up dead lol) the first homicide squad goes to an onsen to relax for the weekend and we can see Dan as his everyday persona: he buys steamed buns to his team, plays at the festival booth and asks about their lives and you can see how much his team like and appreciate him. We also get to know a little bit more about his own past (I can't wait to find out who was his twisted first love) so I'm excited for the next volume!

There's a milllion ways to end this volume and the author chose cliffhanger :)) God, i miss the thrill of this manga but it's been very repetitive lately. I can't wait to finally read about Dan's story with his loved one.

June 29, 2024Lowkey a little obsessed with him because this dude's favorite targets are misogynistic women abusers. If you ignore the serial killing and how much of a psychopath he is, he's such a green flag.💀
Literally such a sweet adorable man, walking his cute little dog, making ugly ass pottery. Violently killing awful men like everyone should have hobbies.
I am very interested to learn about his first love hello??? IS HE FRUITY because I get fruit vibes. I wish it would focus on him so much more than it does.😔 I get having to set the scene and seeing how awful the murderers are but man I am tired of that.

Because these are so fast paced, I find I want to read two volumes in one sitting! Which is not a bad thing at all and points to how gripping this series is. But it does mean I will run out of chapters faster than usual!
We finally get a glimpse at some other members of the homicide investigation team! And some cryptic discussion of Hiroki’s background as they converse. I love that they went to the event under the guise of a ceramics/art club, it’s kind of adorable.
This series does that a lot, playing with opposites of Hiroki being or saying weirdly adorable things while he goes against some of the darkest and most depraved. Contrast is definitely a perk here!
content warnings for everything under the sun with this series but for this volume: domestic abuse, sexual assault, death (obviously), coercion, mentions of abortion, misogyny (another general theme among criminals in this series), and more… I wasn’t kidding in my review of volume one that some reader discretion is advised!

GROSS SO SO SOOo GROSS and his brother at that too holy shit;;;; am so glad the mom of the girl was understanding n knew her daughter better than that, also that poor poor girl im glad she survived im glad she met dan and he took him out. he truly is a demon but the most loving demon and beautiful one ive ever read about.

No wonder this manga included in josei demographic. Super cute multi-talented antihero ML is definitely everything!!! Gore elements and the others is best. Reading this manga makes me questioning my own morality, because its satisfying how the they (the horrible people) ended in Dan’s hand. Totally brutal.

I don't know HOW but this one was cute 😭 for some reason this one felt short and in comparison to the other volumes WAY less gorey. The kids were so adorable and I was happy that they got away from that guy with their mom.
