The Templars were a medieval Christian military order founded in the early 12th century, also known as Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and Solomon's Temple and Knights Templar. A product of the Crusades, they protected Christian pilgrims travelling to the Holy Land and inspired others.

Twelve chapters explain their origins, purpose, structure, organization, and military and financial power. The book shows how the templars were models of inspiration that extend nowadays.

Reading about the templars was interesting. They have been the subject of numerous legends and conspiracy theories throughout history. There is a widespread belief that they discovered sacred relics, such as the Holy Grail, during their time in the Holy Land. As a result, these stories have captured the imagination of readers in books, movies, and video games.

Finally, to understand the Templars' influence and significance during the medieval period, you must apply critical thinking and consider various historical sources and interpretations.

Worth a try.

It's a quick run down on the Knightly Orders of the Crusades. I liked the section on the Order of St Lazarus and the Tectonic Knights. Those orders are usually ignored in these kind of books. I'm glad those two got some recognition for once.
