A really interesting, comprehensive book about the industrial history of Gwynedd. In a couple of places I feel like a few more dates would have been useful, but on the whole I found it very useful and accessible. I wish more of his books were still in print.

This is a useful book, better as a reference source than a book to read in a sitting. It is well illustrated and has good references.
