I wanted to learn more about anxiety problems, and what are some things people can do to prevent anxiety from taking over their lives.

This was a very interesting read that explains you how any person might suffer a panic attack. Some people have the idea that only someone who is always under so much anxiety can be a victim of this, but that's not true. It is true, however, that someone who lives with so much stress and tension in their life may experience these episodes more easily than someone who's not, but absolutely everyone can experience this at some given moment.

This book explains how, in a natural way, people can reduce the conditions that may trigger these panics attacks. I think this is very helpful for someone who is going through a situation that's causing them anxiety episodes or depression, because this way they can start taking control over their lives again without taking medication, which can later produce other problems such as addiction. It's really helpful to try to bring that person's life back to normal.

Here the author explains how the organism works, what are the signals the brain sends to other organs and what happens that may develop a panic attack.

So according to that information, suggests diets to help with those disorders.

Breathing techniques, some people forget how to breath correctly, which can cause a state called hyperventilation in which the blood doesn't take enough oxygen to the cell due to the improper breathing, also what things to avoid, like certain clothes when you are under anxiety because they may give extra pressure to your lungs so you can't breath correctly.

Exercises, to release muscle tension.

And techniques of visualization, which might help you relax.

One thing i wish the author had gone into more detail about is the chapter about worry, It just described the definition of it, facts of people who is going under so much worry all the time, and a little of how someone should accept they have a problem, if they want to stop this worrying state. But i didn't find any information of what someone can do to stop worrying or how to try to calm down. If someone reads this with the intention of trying to ease their worries about, he may not find much help here. Sure, he will find out how to have healthier habits overall and that could help a bit, but not really in how to control those feelings.

I believe for someone who is going under a lot of stress, anxiety or even depression and is constantly struggling trying to overcome that, this might offer a good alternative that could help them improve their state.

This is a tiny book about the prevention of panic attacks and I do believe that if you really focus and do the exercises on a daily basis you will heal. I'm on my healing journey as well, hence why I'm reading these types of self help books. But this one seriously explains what happens in your body when panic overcomes you.

But the author clearly states the same thing that many people do: panic attacks are highly curable, curable forever. And we are doing that not just striving from it, we are healing them forever, don't lose hope, do the exercises, the exposure, the breathing.

There are many of us here struggling but complete healing is a strong possibility.

I found this book to be very informative and helpful. It provides many examples of why anxiety and panic attacks occur as well as a number of natural ways to combat these feelings. An excellent read for anyone suffering from this or if you have a loved one suffering with this.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would.
I have panic disorder and have read SO much on it. This book proved the most true, the most compassionate, it is clearly written by someone who understands the disorder and not a white-coated doctor who believes everything he's read about it in his medical textbooks.
Though by the time I read it, I had figured out the techniques and noticed the triggers on my own, it would be an invaluable resource to anyone just starting to fight this demon to learn how to slowly regain their life back.
If you have panic disorder or know somebody who does, READ THIS.
