First off, I enjoy the cover to this comic book. Something about all the interstate signs appeals to me.

This follows the format of two stories and one (terrible) Velma section.

The first story was "Annunaki", otherwise know as the story of Mounds. The gang visits an area with a whole lot of mounds. They suggest it is a unique geological feature that should be used for tourist attraction. Then we learn that that had already been tried. Mound Land, Mound World, Raging Mounds, etc.

The gang figures out someone is squelching development, so they approach the planning board with the idea of Mound Country. That got the attention of the scoundrel who came after the gang. Turns out the head of the board was the "monster" as he felt the mounds contained gold and wouldn't permit development until he had a chance to explore.

The second was a cute, albeit telegraphed, story about Shaggy's birthday. A mystery it was, but one that had everyone smiling in the end. :)
