Beverly Rae is back with the fourth installment of the The Night Runner werewolves series. If you are not familiar with them, they are quick, sexy and satisfying werewolf menage stories that work well when read in order, but are also easy reads if read independently of one another. In the previous books, we learn that the Night Runner pack searches for mates through the use of dreams. When the time is right, the destined wolf begins to dream of his mate and he and the pack appear in her dreams as a team to show her the pleasure of becoming one of them. The dreams eventually lead to the meeting of the wolf and his soon to be mate and when the time is right, she is claimed by him. This time things are different. Nick is not sure why, but someone is sending dreams to him. She is hot as hell but he can’t seem to remember much about her when he wakes up. He knows she must be his mate and he senses she is near but he just can’t get a grip on how he is dreaming of her when he has not sent a dream in her direction.
Tamara can’t stand it anymore. She is tired of Jackson constantly pawing at her trying to say she is his. She knows that she is running out of time but she can’t rush the process of getting Nick to come to her and she is risking everything by sneaking into his dreams behind Jackson’s back. She needs to meet Nick in person and she knows she is destined to be with him, but if Jackson continues his pursuits, he will eventually stop taking no for an answer. When she finally makes the decision to meet her desitiny, she finds herself on her motorcycle racing with none other than the man in her dreams. Can he keep up with her to find his one true mate? Or will a jealous Alpha take control before they have a chance?
I find myself enjoying this series more and more as I read on. They are the perfect thing when I need a quick fix with hot scenes and a little fang and fur. While the scenes are not overly elaborate, they are satisfying and fit perfectly with the storyline. The characters are not overliy in depth but that is to be expected with a short story. That being said, I love the dynamic with the pack and how they initiate new females. It is all about bonding and trust that makes a girl wish that they would sneak into her dreams and fulfill her fantasies.

If elements of a hot, steamy, action packed paranormal novel is what you are hungry for please don’t let Taming Tamara get past you. Taming Tamara is the fourth book in Ms. Rae’s Night Runner series, but it reads well as a stand-alone; which is how I read it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am sure you will also. Read More...

I feel the same about this as I do the others. It's all kinky until all the pack is involved. I don't think that's right at all. I do like Beverly Rae's novel but this series just isn't for me. I'm done reading the series, that's for sure.
