The beginning of this volume was not what I was expecting. This explain and shows even more than I was expecting. Sara and the witchblade have a lot of history together and just with that all of those nonsense dialogues, those cut off characters, the one who died trying to tell more, now all of them have sense.
I'm pretty scared of how that new gem is going to change Sara's path and the decisions she is going to take. For all that they led us see in this volume is non good.
Jake and Sara are having a better relationship in each volume, I don't ship them but they have a good friendship and he honestly cares about her. She is truly counting on him and knowing that she is not alone in such moments that comes, is quite relaxing.
Now I don't know what to think about Gavin and Kenneth. Gavin is slowly falling and he finally hit the ground it's gonna be really painful. That argument that he got whit Jake just shows how sick and empty he is and honestly, just for once, I'm with Kennet in this one, Gavin must fall. Obviously I count on him falling too, but of course it has to be more spectacular and by Sara's hands.
Again, I'm keeping my faith up in Ian. Don't know why but I don't want to give up on him, at least when we're talking about Setsuke.
And that ending was just a explosion. It bind up everything, from volume 1 to this perfectly and shows you the reality of Sara's status. She is in total danger, just like Ian told her, and it's worst that we could imagine. it's like someone has been pulling of the strings of her life for a long time.
I really want to know what's gonna happen next. This was a great series, Awesome beginning and increible ending, plot and art.
Hopefully the next one would be as good.
