I am a proud Geordie. This book was a massive disappointment. Started speed reading it after 10 pages as it is just a socialists handbook and paints the North East in such a down trodden and dreary light which suits the narrative of the extreme left wing. This is not the North East I have lived in for nigh on 60 years now. Do not bother with it.
