The AAUW was selected by the National Science Foundation to study the reason women make up such a small percentage of the workforce in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This book is the conclusion of the research. A truly fascinating perspective.
This book offers a great perspective on the effects that stereotypes and implicit bias can have on women's success within STEM careers and education as well as how women identify with STEM as a whole. Some of the research in this book is dated now, but a lot of the messages conveyed are still heavily relevant today.
