Fabulously interesting yet, at the same time, clunky to read.

Het is niet de vlotste lectuur, maar dit boek is een gedegen werk over de Reformatie. Doorheen allerlei thema's ontwikkelen beide auteurs voornamelijk deze 2 stellingen:
- de Reformatie was geen plotse, eenmalige gebeurtenis op het eind van de Middeleeuwen, maar een continue proces dat inherent is aan het christendom
- reformatie is een proces dat niet voorbij is, maar nog steeds aan de gang is
Al bij al was het zeer interessant en leerrijk. De auteurs leggen de nadruk op gelijkenissen tussen katholicisme en protestantisme en voeren voorbeelden aan uit heel wat stromingen binnen beide religieuze benaderingen.
