This is exactly what I hoped it would be: a well organized outline of the history of art in the Western world complete with beautiful pictures on every page. It's a perfect book if you just want a general idea of art history and the artists' influences, and it's a perfect book for students to begin learning about art history. It must have been a tremendous amount of work to boil down all this information into an easy-to-read book.
Thanks Barron's and everyone who worked on this. I enjoyed the book very much, and I'm going to read the other books in your series. Well done!
