She was educated at Bard College, Brown University, and Pacific School of Religion. Robinson has been a winner of the National Poetry Series and is a recipient of the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, 2008 Grants to Artists Award. She lives in Boulder, Colorado and teaches at Naropa University.
