A fun little read that goes back to basics to present simple and straightforward information on a range of topics around magick, witchcraft, and spellwork. Much of the information is very basic and some even quite out-of-date or inaccurate. However, I was also surprised at the level of knowledge and detail in some sections - the chapters on the Goetia and alchemy were great, informative reads. While not a text I'd keep in my personal library, if you know someone in your life, particularly a young person, who's just starting to explore the worlds of magick and witchcraft, this could be a decent primer for many witchy and occult subjects.

I love this reference book, for lots of things. It's one of the first books I grab when I sit down to focus.
