In 1960, he graduated in horticulture in England, following training at the Kew Gardens. He moved to Canada in 1967, continuing his career in horticulture.

Invaluable. I bought this little book and Cole's 'What Grows When' (they're both about 5" x 6" & a good 2" thick - with lots of pictures and relevant text) both for $15 + S/H about 2 years ago ... easily worth 2X or 3X more.
